Real Estate and Financial Companies group in
USA for 20 years and Bulgaria for 4 years.

track record in their business ventures both of
whom have MBA from leading Universities.

5. Investment perspectives
I. The Kyoto Protocol.
II. The EU 2007 roadmap for renewable energy
targets up to and beyond the current Kyoto
period (which ends in 2012).
• Share of renewable electricity in total electricity
consumption from 14% to 22% (in EU-15) and to 21% (in
EU-25).
• A proposed EU target of 30% of all power production from
renewable sources by 2030 will maintain the pressure on
member states to continue supporting renewable energy
projects.

• Recent EU accession and candidate countries
have adopted EU targets to cut greenhouse
gas emissions by 8% collectively.
• Conservative estimates (based on zero
domestic consumption growth) indicate a
potential of over 5,000 MW of new renewable
energy projects by 2010 in the Central and
Eastern Europe – capex investment amount of
almost €10 billion to meet the country targets.

7. Investment perspectives
• Renewable and Alternative Energy Sources and
Biofuels Act in Bulgaria obliges utility companies
to purchase at very favorable price produced
power from renewable energy sources for 25
year period.
• For solar plants that means 100 % guaranteed
market for 25 years and roughly 0,39 Euro for
each kw/h produced. It is around 6 times higher
than the end individual user’s price.
• Favorable natural conditions in Bulgaria.

ground zero we are looking for a partner on this point.
• Customizing engineering plans as to be approved of municipality
and the state. Completing the whole procedure with building permits
and licenses.

purchase, Detailed urban planning and change of land status
• Solar or wind auditing.
• Facilitating contract procedures with the Utility Company.
• Business plan and complete document preparation for acquiring
needed finances (bank loans; EU grants; equity and investment
funds).
