The HiveAP 20 and HiveAP 28 are 802.11a/b/g wireless access points from Aerohive Networks that use cooperative control to provide the benefits of a controller-based wireless LAN without requiring a separate controller. They are organized into "hives" to enable fast roaming, coordinated RF management, security, QoS, and mesh networking. While able to operate independently, the HiveManager Network Management System provides centralized management of multiple access points for configuration, monitoring, and policy management.
