The hit show Pokémon followed the story of the
original game. The story featured a young Ash
Ketchum and his quest to become the greatest
Pokémon master. This show captured the hearts
of millions of little children in the mid 90’s. This
show sparked the Pokémon franchise into the
record books. Pokémon has had great cultural
influence. Pokémon logos can be found on plans
and trains all over Japan. Very few children don’t
know about Pokémon.

10. Animaniacs
Animaniacs is a TV show produced by Steven
Spielberg in the early 90’s. The show featured short
slapstick comedy segments, instead of one long
show. The segments would feature a different cast
of characters. The show promoted several
educational values in a comic like way. The show
really started to take off from 1995-1998 as a part
of Kid’s WB. The show often would appeal to older
audience and would often include pop cultural
parodies.
