The fact we cannot see anything adds to the effect and could imply something is yet to come. You could say it juxtaposes with the genre because the setting looks cool and calm in contrast to the actual eerie things about to happen. Not long after that a low angle was used I think very cleverly. I think it was purposely used to show someone or something beneath the human just silently waiting and watching. The fact it is in the sunlight emphasizes someonesomething hiding until the sun has gone down to attack

This over the shoulder shot to me portrays some kind of uncertainty between the two male character, again it could imply someone is keeping something they know to themselves or perhaps hiding something he doesn’t want anyone to know.
