This document contains teaching notes on mercy by Joyce Meyer from December 17, 1993. It discusses mercy and grace, how mercy is receiving what we deserve while grace is receiving what we don't deserve. It explains how we receive mercy through faith and defines mercy as kindness in excess of what may be expected, with compassion even for those in trouble due to their own fault. The notes provide biblical examples of God's mercy and teach that we must receive grace and mercy to have peace. It also discusses being merciful to others as a fruit of the spirit and sovereign behavior for believers.

This document contains notes from a teaching by Joyce Meyer on July 25-28, 1996 in Modesto, California on overcoming a "wilderness mentality". She outlines 10 different wilderness mentalities that can keep people stuck in a wilderness instead of entering into the Promised Land. These include thinking one's future is based on the past, not taking responsibility, wanting everything to be easy, grumbling and complaining, not wanting to wait, jealousy and comparison, stubbornness and rebellion, blaming others, not feeling worthy of blessings, and pitying oneself. Meyer encourages developing the right mindset to progress from wilderness living to Promised Land living by trusting God and His timing.
1. Habakkuk questions God about the injustice and violence in Judah and why God does not intervene, to which God responds that he will use the Babylonians to judge Judah.
2. Habakkuk is dismayed by God's answer, as the Babylonians are even more wicked, but is reminded of God's holy nature and eternal purpose.
3. He awaits God's response in prayer, taking on the role of a watchman as he waits patiently for God's answer and forgiveness.
This document contains excerpts from various spiritual writings focused on topics like suffering, humility, sin, and finding peace in God. Some key points:
- Suffering is necessary and intended by God to purify and heal, not as punishment. It should be borne peacefully by accepting God's will.
- True humility involves being at peace even when humiliated and focusing on obedience to God rather than desires of the ego.
- Finding relief from problems in worldly things like changing circumstances or alcohol only provides temporary relief, not healing. True healing and cleansing of sin comes only from God.
A brief message discussing the peace our Saviors gospel can bring into our lives based on the a famous hymn, "Master, the Tempest Is Raging."
Whether the wrath of the storm-tossed sea
Or demons or men or whatever it be,
No waters can swallow the ship where lies
The Master of ocean and earth and skies.
They all shall sweetly obey thy will:
Peace, be still.
This document is a table of contents for a book titled "2 Minute Wisdom, Volume 4" by Mike Murdock. It lists 130 short sections or "Wisdom Keys" that will be covered in the book. Each section has a brief title that provides a glimpse at the topics to be discussed, such as "The Master Secret to Unending Favor in Life", "Your Mind is Your Greatest Investment", and "One Thing You Should Never Trust". However, the document itself does not contain the full summaries or discussions for any of the individual sections, it only lists their titles and page numbers.
While the document asks where the reader was during 9/11, both physically and spiritually, it emphasizes that regardless of circumstances, true believers will praise God for His mercy and love. It encourages declaring that God alone rules the universe and is just in His dealings. The document stresses that through all times, both good and bad, we should see God's love and desire for us to do good. God gives both the strength to overcome and ability to endure difficult times.
This document summarizes a presentation on finding inner peace in the different seasons of life. It discusses how life involves both good and bad times represented by different "streets" or seasons we travel through. These can include seasons of sorrow, struggle, or celebration. However, God promises peace that transcends life's circumstances. The presentation provides biblical references on God's promises and strategies for maintaining inner peace, including prayer, embracing emotions, living according to God's word, and caring for one's physical health.
Earth life is crucial for our eternal progression. We receive physical bodies to be tested and prove we will keep God's commandments. Those who pass the tests with faith in God will gain eternal life. Mortality provides the opportunity to develop godly attributes and perfect ourselves through obedience to God's commands.

Joyce Meyer Ministries provides a teaching note on patient endurance. The document discusses how patience leads to joy and true life through suffering, while impatience causes people to avoid discomfort and never fully develop. It contrasts the patient Moses with the impatient Esau. Impatience is said to cause stress, sickness, works of the flesh like strife and control, and missing out on inheritances. To exercise patience, one must endure trials, chastisement, affliction, well-doing, and fruit-bearing. Patience is a fruit of the spirit that grows through trial and perfects Christian character.

The document encourages using talents wisely, as the Lord will bless this, and provides questions to help identify talents.
Acf ss am i prepared to give a reason for my hopejplett
This document outlines sessions from a course called "Sharing Your Faith in a Skeptical Culture". Session 3 discusses being prepared to give reasons for one's Christian faith. It encourages participants to know their own testimony of coming to faith, familiarize themselves with evidence supporting Christianity, and watch for opportunities God provides to respectfully share their faith. The goal is to help Christians confidently engage their skeptical culture with gentleness.
This document discusses 4 significant milestones in the discipleship journey: Gilgal, Bethel, Jericho, and Jordan. It focuses on Bethel, describing it as encountering and experiencing the presence of God through communion, revelation, worship, and dependency. Bethel experiences involve encountering God's love through salvation, progressively experiencing his grace, maturing through trials that purify faith, and growing deeper in knowing God through his self-revelation. The Holy Spirit guides believers to continually experience God.
This document discusses self-control and how to regain it. It provides biblical passages about self-control and the importance of building "the wall of self-control." It lists triggers that can lead to a lack of self-control like hunger, anger, loneliness, and tiredness. To regain self-control, one should: depend on Jesus, acknowledge issues, forget the past, talk back to feelings, believe change is possible, make oneself accountable, and avoid temptation. Maintaining self-control is important for leadership and living a godly life.
This document discusses the concept of stewardship from a biblical perspective. It defines stewardship as a God-given responsibility with accountability. As Christians, God has called us to be stewards and entrusted us with possessions to use for His purposes. The document outlines four key factors of stewardship: 1) God owns everything and we own nothing, 2) God entrusts us with what we have, 3) we are responsible to increase what God has given us or diminish it, and 4) God will hold us accountable for how we use what He has entrusted to us.
This document provides lesson material for teaching about how adversity can help people grow. It discusses how while adversity is difficult, facing trials can help us learn important life lessons and become more like Jesus Christ. The document uses the story of a gymnast who became paralyzed in an accident as an example of turning adversity into personal growth. It also encourages preparing for future adversity by building a strong spiritual foundation in Jesus Christ through faith, repentance, and obedience to God's commandments.
This article discusses how Christians should conduct themselves, especially in victory or defeat. It emphasizes maintaining good character regardless of outcomes. A sore loser or winner loses their character, but God's people are to be examples of Christ. The early church faced opposition but added members daily through living godly lives. Ultimately, victory over the world comes through faith in Christ. The choice is ours to be headed for victory in Heaven or defeat in Hell based on our response to God's salvation.
1. You have the power you need through Christ's divine power and knowledge of Jesus Christ to escape traps the world calls out and walk the spiritual path.
2. You can make a difference by being used by God in his kingdom work rather than getting in a spiritual rut forgetting what God has done.
3. You can feel secure not in perfection but by growing in faith and grace, never falling, receiving a rich welcome, and living in God's eternal kingdom through Jesus Christ.
1. Grace refers to the undeserved favor and mercy that God freely gives to believers through Jesus Christ. It is not something that is earned or deserved.
2. Most Christians do not fully understand grace and try to earn salvation through good works rather than relying on God's power and mercy. Living by grace means relying on the Holy Spirit's strength rather than one's own.
3. God's grace is more than sufficient for every need and gives believers everything they require to live obedient, victorious lives.
This document provides guidance on balancing faith, family, and work through prioritizing God first, establishing a personal purpose statement focused on personal growth and serving others, prioritizing family by building intimacy, focusing on work as service rather than a source of identity, and finding renewal in ministry by focusing on one's heart and shifting focus to thinking on noble things. The overarching message is that balance requires choosing what is most important and trusting God with the rest, as no one can do all things.
The document discusses themes of joy, darkness, and God's perspective. It contains quotes from authors Dallas Willard and Fleming Rutledge discussing whether God experiences joy amid the world's struggles. Rutledge believes God sees deprivation and death, while Willard argues God finds joy in creation's wonders. The document prompts reflection on experiencing tension between joy and pain this year, and how to spread joy until year's end. It closes with a prayer for Jesus to be more than a dream and lead people in grace and peace.
This document provides materials for a seminar on building lasting partnerships, including sections on vision, building a team, and the biblical foundation for partnerships. It discusses developing a vision from God, building a ministry team through relationships, and the biblical basis for being supported by others through their gifts as exemplified by figures like Jesus, Paul, and Levites. God made the world and everything in it. God is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient - all-powerful, never far away, and knows everything. God created the world in seven days and rested on the seventh day. Adam and Eve were the first humans, created in God's image. They sinned by disobeying God and eating the forbidden fruit. This brought sin, shame, and death into the world. Cain killed his brother Abel out of jealousy, becoming the first murderer. Noah built an ark to God's specifications and was saved along with his family from the great flood that destroyed the rest of the world. Abraham obeyed God's call to leave his home and was

Joyce Meyer discusses 12 of the most difficult things she has dealt with in ministry, including loneliness, the silent foundation-laying years, learning to handle rejection and betrayal, learning to say no, staying fresh, being consistently confident, enjoying the ministry, waiting on God's timing, having boldness to be your unique self, dealing with people, attacks against her health, and learning how to be in ministry with her husband. The document provides biblical references and personal examples for each difficulty.
1) The document is a teaching note by Joyce Meyer on the topic of mercy. It discusses mercy and grace, how to receive God's mercy through faith, and developing a merciful attitude towards others.
2) Key points include that mercy is God not giving us what we deserve in terms of punishment for mistakes or sins, while grace is God giving us what we don't deserve in terms of blessings. Mercy can be received through faith by drawing near to God's throne of grace.
3) Developing a merciful attitude involves sowing mercy by treating others well, not judging others, and showing compassion as God does through his mercy towards believers. Mercy is also a fruit of the Spirit that should
This document contains teaching notes on fickle feelings by Joyce Meyer. Some key points:
1) Emotions are often the believer's number one enemy as the devil uses feelings to deceive us. Feelings change frequently and should not dictate decisions or beliefs.
2) Spiritual maturity involves living beyond feelings and not being "tossed to and fro" by them. Mature believers know what they believe is not swayed by experiences or lack of certain feelings.
3) Believers must serve the God of the Bible, not their feelings. Many never experience God's love, presence, gifts, purpose, because they live by feelings rather than faith in scripture. Feelings should not replace biblical truths
Joyce Meyer discusses making changes that lead to personal growth. She emphasizes that nothing changes until your mind changes, and that changing your thinking is the first step to changing your behavior. Meyer explains that change is a process that can provoke emotions, and decisions made during emotional highs and lows often cause long-term trouble. She encourages readers to make changes when they feel dissatisfied or that their current situation has become like a "dry brook" no longer feeding them. The greatest change of all, she says, is becoming a new creature in Christ, equipped with everything needed to live in a brand new way.
This document contains teaching notes on confidence by Joyce Meyer. It discusses what confidence is, how it relates to faith, and how without confidence believers are hindered. It notes that confidence comes from revelation of who we are in Christ. When confidence is stolen through religion, it can lead to many problems. True confidence allows individuals to be themselves and rely on God rather than trying to be like others. The document encourages putting confidence in Christ rather than fleshly things. It concludes by addressing fear as the enemy of confidence and encourages doing things even while feeling afraid, as God commands us to "fear not."
This document discusses the importance of canceling legal ground as part of the deliverance ministry. It explains that Satan operates legally and looks for opportunities to steal, kill and destroy based on legal rights gained from people's past sins and family lines. The author shares an example of ministering to a woman with a past in witchcraft who had never received deliverance, despite being a Christian for years. The document emphasizes that deliverance involves more than just casting out demons - it also requires canceling legal ground and destroying the works of the enemy in people's lives. An effective deliverance ministry is needed to set many Christians free from ongoing spiritual struggles related to their pasts.
There are 4 levels of spiritual warfare against demonic spirits:
1. Demons attacking from outside with no legal right. This involves temptations that can be resisted through commanding the demons to leave in Jesus' name.
2. Demons attacking with a legal right due to sins or transgressions that open a hole in one's protective hedge. This requires discovering and breaking the legal right.
3. Demons dwelling inside a Christian's body or soul due to severe, ongoing sin that was not repented of. This level involves deliverance to cast the demons out.
4. Demons oppressing or possessing an unsaved person. Salvation and deliverance are needed to regain authority over the demons
This document provides a manual for mass deliverance from demons based on the teachings of Win Worley. It contains instructions for conducting group renunciation prayers to break curses and close doors that may be allowing demonic influence. The introductions explain that renouncing unforgiveness, occult contact, soul ties, generational sins, and trauma is important to remove the demons' "rights" or strongholds before casting them out. The manual then provides sample prayers and renunciations for a group to work through forgiveness, renouncing the occult, breaking soul ties and curses, and confessing ancestral sins together to achieve mass deliverance.
