The Misys Business Intelligence (MBI) programme has a central objective of
enabling the client's access to and analysis of information around all business
operations in order to optimize decision making and manage performance. The
strategic rationale is to develop and deliver a contemporary, fit -for-purpose banking-
wide Business Intelligence solution in order to rationalize and standardize Business
Intelligence needs and meet emerging market trends in Banking. MBI was developed
for the source systems including Bank Fusion UB, Bank Fusion Equation and Bank
Fusion Midas. Currently, the MBI for Summit is under progress.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

agents, insurance, assured and location according to organizations requirements. The
system is used for policy formulation, Claim analysis, Product and customer
profitability, Premium analysis, cost containment and litigation cost reductions. The
console application which is part of the system does periodic processing apart from
regular database maintenance. Enables the users for studying the market patterns,
revenue estimation, and formulate more cost effective and competitive services.
Legal & General insurance is a new organization that needs to manage operations
of two large and distinct insurance groups. The project was on Greenfield program
Management for building data warehouse for Nationwide Health Insurance in various
subject areas like financial transactions, claims information and agreements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Extensively used Data Stage Designer to develop various Parallel jobs to extract,
cleanse, transform, integrate and load data into Enterprise Data Warehouse
tables.
 Involved in Design, Source to Target Mappings between sources to operational
staging targets, using Star Schema, Implemented logic for Slowly Changing
Dimensions.
 Extracted data from various sources, Transformed according to the requirement
and Loaded into data warehouse schema using various stages like sequential file,
Aggregator, Transformer stage.
 Extensively worked with Data Stage Shared Containers for Re-using the Business
