producer of specialty Electronics products. This Project involves the creation of a Data Warehouse for the
Sales Reporting System. Data from Operational Source System is extracted, transformed and loaded into data
warehouse using Informatica. This Data Warehouse supports Business Objects applications that are in
production, administering the BO activities, and granting the necessary DB access rights and privileges for the
BO users
Responsibilities:

3. This project is aimed to reduce the manufacturing cost and improve the sales by identifying the key factors
like the total sales revenue on a monthly and quarterly basis on the region and sales amount.
The decision support system is focused on analyzing the entire business process in order to provide critical
information like daily revenue, total sales, goals information on employees and new plans to company for
developing business intelligences system based on B.Os and information products.
Role & Responsibilities:
 Understanding various Business requirements
 Developed the Informatica mappings to load the data into staging tables from multiple data sources
such as SQL Server, Oracle and text files

Project Description:
This Data Mart is based on the advertisement Management System and the Retail Sales System. The main
object of this Data Mart is to provide integrated information on Retail Sales System and promotional sales
metrics. The Transformation System and the Warehouse are both hosted on Windows NT servers using Oracle
8i as RDBMS. Promotional Sales Fact, with several dimensions namely Customer Product, Store, Location,
Promotion, and Time. Aggregate tables are built to improve query performance. The Objective of this project
is to create a data mart for the analysis of Sales information in the company. This project involved designing
and creating a data mart to fulfil their business study & analysis requirement.
Responsibilities:
 Extracting of external data from the sources like flat files and relational databases.
