Carlisle Middle School welcomes new students and provides an overview of the school layout and programs. The commons area is the central location for breakfast, lunch, and between class time. Administrative offices and the media center are located there. Each grade has its own wing with classrooms, computer labs, and lockers. Core classes meet daily while exploratory classes like art, PE, and life skills meet on rotating schedules. Students have choices for hot lunch or a la carte items. After school activities include band, choir, clubs, and sports. The school recognizes positive behavior through rewards and celebrations.

Each grade has a large celebration at the end of the year for those who earn it Plus, weekly positive notes and calls! So, remember to be Safe, Tolerant, Accountable, and Responsible…..STAR!

43. Things to Think About/Remember 6 th grade is a new year and a new beginning Change will happen in Middle School and change is okay and can be good. Have fun, get involved, and work hard and you will do great. When in doubt, ask questions. The students AND teachers were all new to middle school once before and know what you are going through!
