1. Teaching Digital Citizenship in the Elementary Classroom
This project is a bit difficult to assess in a common format due to the fact
that each project is self-selected and may be quite unique. Our goal will
be to grade with a focus on the following outcomes: (See rubric on page
two for point breakdown)
The project should introduce your topic, and then provide a
workable plan and list of resources and PLN members for audience
members to move forward with.
The project is planned, designed, and created through the lens of
an educational technology integration coach. The audience for
the project consists of teachers and/or school administrators.
The project is visibly improved with feedback from your professional
learning network (PLN). Additionally, you have provided feedback
to others regarding their work.
The project is directly related to one or more ILT competencies and
at least one of the following: AASL,Highly Effective Library, or ISTE
NETS*C.
The project is presented to the class in an engaging manner using
web 2.0 tools which allow the audience to participate and/or
provide feedback. Presentations will occur at the final class
meeting. If you are a distance learner, we can figure out a plan for
your final presentation. (Skype, Google+ Hangout, etc.)
A rubric will be provided on Edmodo for your project presentation
(10 points)
