networks. Sharing content that is valuable to your audience is more likely to grab their

with influencers, affiliates and like minded individuals.

Boosting posts is a great way to get your posts higher 
up the News Feed, which allows it to be seen by more 
People and more likely to receive a higher engagement rate 
With your audience 
When boosting your posts you are given options 
to chose from in relation to what audience your 
targeting? How long you want the boosted post to 
last? and what your budget is? 
Facebook gives you the ability to edit your posts, budgets, audience and scheduling of boosted posts. 
Once you’ve performed a boosted post, if you hover over or click on the number of views, you will see a 
breakdown of the organic and paid reaches your post has acquired.
Tip #4 Start a Group 
Facebook Groups are an excellent tool for getting your audience to engage with your 
business. Groups can be set up for Products, Services and General Enquires etc. They 
are a great way to gather feedback as your audiences will engage with each other. 
Make sure you keep your messages 
light and useful, your audience don’t 
want to be bombarded with messages 
trying to over sell. 
Give relevant information to your 
audience to keep them interested.
Tip #5 Engaging Content 
The key to being successful with your social media marketing efforts is by creating and 
sharing content that gets your audience communicating. With Facebook being the top 
social media platform with 100’s of millions of active users logging on each day it is 
important that businesses both small and large understand that audiences want to see 
more in their feeds than just advertisements for products and services. 
• Provide helpful tips and information that is relevant to your business that your 
audience will share with their friends and them with theirs. 
• Use a storytelling approach when using facts and statistics – your audience will 
more than likely remember this approach. 
• Relate to your audience – use 2nd person writing style such as “you” and “your” it 
has a bigger impact on the audience to respond.
