Gilliam Headstart Center is welcoming students for the 2016-2017 school year. Ms. Tashunda House will be the preschool teacher. Her goals are to ensure students learn and get the knowledge needed to succeed. She will do her best to make sure lessons are understood. Homework will be sent home Monday through Thursday based on class activities. Students will bring a folder to school to send work back and forth. Classroom rules include listening to teachers, walking and not running, keeping hands to yourself, and staying in line. Students are expected to be friendly, share, and work as a team with parents and teachers to help all children succeed.

2. As Your Teacher….
• My goal is to ensure that you (as students) learn and get the
knowledge you need to succeed.
• I ensure that I would do all that I can to ensure that you
understand the lessons and activities.
• I want to see everyone succeed and pass to the next grade level.

3. Homework
• Monday through Thursday of every week I will be sending homework home.
(it is based off the lessons/activities we do in the class)
• Each student will bring a folder to school.(the same folder is to be brought
to school everyday)
• Inside the folder; the left side will be the announcements, etc. for to keep at
home; the right side is to be return to school (homework)
