1. 48 Go Conquer is Ireland’s newest mobile network service provider. This company has a
particular target market, the 18 to 22 year old demographic of Ireland. Similar to TESCO
mobile, 48 Go Conquer does not have its own masts or signal transmitters around the country
and as a result piggybacks on the network of mobile giants O2. For €10 a month you get
unlimited calls and texts to any mobile network. There is also an introductory offer: unlimited
data for two weeks for €2. This includes a reasonable 500mb of data. In effect that is a
respectable €14 a month.
In comparison to the other mobile service providers 48 Go Conquer is relatively cheaper
because it does not have a large customer care team waiting to take your call.
How does this offer work?
Every month a €10 membership fee is required. As outlined above the 48 membership covers
you for unlimited calls and texts to any mobile network. “To get your great value calls and
texts you need to top up by €10 and then go to Buy Stuff to pay your membership”. Topping
up online can be carried out by the use of a credit or debit card. Like other phone contract
such as Meteor, once your monthly membership or contract runs out, you won’t get your
unlimited calls and texts. To get your free texts back you will need to top up and pay your
membership.
