developed devices for diagnosis and

3. General Objectives:-
This course designed to support the
student by basic principles of physics
that help them to understand medical
application and basics of diagnostic
devices and machines.

4. Specific Objectives:-
By the end of this course students should be able to:
1/ identify the properties of substances.
2/ recognize the historical background and importance
of radiation.
3/ describe the electrical current and the hazard of
electric shock in physics.
4/ identify the radiological basics of X-ray MRI AND CT-
scan.
5/ list the types of X-ray.
6/ identify the basics of ultrasound, ECG and
Echocardiography.
7/ list the hazard of radiation.
8/ identify the basics of mechanics.
9/ interpret the heat with clinical thermometer.
