The Soccer Corner is a retail soccer shop established in 1980 in Lilburn, GA that has seen growing sales and customer base in recent years. The original paper-based system for tracking sales and inventory was no longer sufficient. A new database system was needed to efficiently manage large volumes of sales and inventory information, allow easy retrieval of past records, and support potential expansion to additional stores. The team designed and developed an SQL database that provides queries for salary, customer, and purchase information to meet the Soccer Corner's needs.
