3. UNANI
>In Arabic,Unani means Greece and Tibb mean medicine.
>Greece system of medicine began with God Apollo,the mentor of
healing art,who chases away all ills.
>Unani denotes and old system of medicine of Greece origin.
>The Theory was based one the fundamentals known as “Theory of
flumours”.
>Health and illness are due yo balance and imbalance of these
homour
respectively.
>Galen and other contributed for the stabilization of system.

4. PRINCIPLE
Unani is based on two theoris,They are
Flippocrates, “ Theory of four Homours” and Pythagoras “Theory of
four proximate qualities”.
>The four proximate qualities are the states of living human body
like hot,cold, moist and dry, representing fire,water air and Earth
respectively.
> Arab physicians put all these together seven working principle
elements, temperature,homours,organs,life,spirit energy and
action.
These principle are responsible for body constitution,health and
disease condition .

5. DIAGNOSISA

>Unani aims treating the cause of disease rather the
symptoms.
> Diagnosis includes pulse reading urine and stool’s
examination.
> Since , disease of understood as the imbalance of homours,
treatment is given accordingly.
> Polyherbal preparation are produced as their collective
effect is considered.

> Homeopathy is comparatively a recent system of
medicine.
> it has been developed in 18th century by Samuel
Hahnemann, an internationally reputed physician and
chemist.
> Samuel Hahnemann compiled all his findings in organ of
medicine.

7. PRINCIPLE
 > The cause of disease itself can be treatment and it the
fundamental principle of homeopathy.
> According to the Hahnemann , diseases are congenital
and caused by gene mutation,hence homeopathy is called
as Genetic medicine.
> As long as they are in that state, the person does not
suffer from diseases due to resistance power.
> Animal reveal only the physical changes whereas man
can express the phychological changes also.

8. TREATMENT
The purpose of administration of the drug is to stimulate natural
and inherent powers of the body.
Thus, is stressed the cure for disease in a natural way.
The treatment is based on the concept of proving and power.

The symptoms (Physical,mental) that are caused in prover by the
various potencies of medicine.
> For treatment, the symyoms of the drugs are compared with
symptoms of the patient.

1.It takes long periods of time to cure in chronic cases.
2.Selection of correct dong is difficult.

10. CONCLUSION
Medicines can be a good alternative for many diseases and
conditions.
Unani describes the basic and applied aspects of life.
process, health and disease cured in terms of its own principle and
approaches.
They are low cost, and tend to have fewer side effects .
Homeopathy cures but proper study is the only route to consistent
success and ethical practice of homeopathy. There are no shortcuts.
For this reason, a wide reading of homeopathic theory, philosophy,
and practice is important for each veterinarian who decides to study
homeopathy.
