2. Select ‘New Case’ button.

3. Select the dental lab you would like to send your scan file.

5. Mark the tooth that needs to be restored.

6. Click on the ‘Abutment’ tab.

7. After clicking screw retained crown, choose implant brand.

8. Now select ‘system’.

9. Now select ‘shape’.

15. Remove the healing cap. Dry the area. Scan the emergence profile immediately. Make sure the entire area cover well.

16. Choose ‘Tools’. Choose ‘lock surface’

19. Scan the arch with healing cap in place

21. Trim away the healing cap and its immediate surroundings using trim tool.

22. Remove the healing cap. Dry the area. Scan the emergence profile immediately
before the gingiva collapses.

23. Make sure you cover the emergence profile and the contact points in the scan.

24. Finally mark the preparation. You will see the blue overlay around the preparation mark indicating the area
that will automatically cut out. When going to the scan body page, if necessary, you may reposition the pre-
mark to obtain your desired cutout. You may adjust the automatic cutout radius under setting scan or you may
turn it off completely if you prefer to trim manually. Make sure that all of the implant has been trimmed away
as well as the nearby surroundings.

Insert the scan body and proceed to the scan body page

26. Start the scanner pointing at the neighboring tooth. Slowly move to the scan body and circle around it to get it scanned from all
angles. It is important to cover the upper third of the scan body to make it possible for the lab to recognize the correct position.
When the scan body scan is complete, remove the scan body.

27. Click ‘next’ to scan the upper arch.

28. Follow the official scan strategy for the Upper Arch
-Scan the occlusal surface from the molar to the canine
-Slowly roll to the buccal side; move the scanner in the distal scanner.
-Finally slowly roll over the last molar and scan the palatal side.

29. Click ‘next’ to scan the bite (occlusion).

30. Ask the patient to firmly bite and scan until both scans snap into position and the arches are aligned. The scan should
cover at least 3 to 4 teeth for perfect alignment even if the scans snap together earlier.

31. Switch to the analyze page to confirm that there is enough space for the reconstruction between upper and lower arch.

32. Optionally, add some comments or shade measurements.

33. Finally, go to the ‘send’ page

34. After verifying the order, press send order.
