Ben McFadyen struggled to find images without blurriness or watermarks to include in a production experiment. He found a boat image without blurriness and cropped out the background. Finding a full-body person image was difficult, so he used half a legs image. McFadyen found fonts online and copied text from the original magazine. He reflected that some elements from his experiments may be included in his final product, such as a plug, as he is no longer making a magazine.

3. Process
• I struggled to try and find a non blurry background
and the one that fits this one but it’s the best I
could find it not the same as the original. The font
of the boat was the easy part because none of
them were blurry, so I found the best one cropped
out the background and put it in the bottom right.
Trying to find the person was the hardest because
they all and water marks on them but I also need
to find a full person so all legs chest and head. So I
found a person with half of his legs and out him at
the bottom. The I need to find the right font so I
went on da font.com I found a good one but them I
just copied the one from the magazine and put it
on. I did the same for the water marks the barcode
and the poster. But then with the little badge I used
the circle tool on photoshop and then I did another
circle in side of the circle that I just drew. Then I
coloured them in. the right font I put it in the circle
and put what is says on the oriole magazine.

4. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
– Some of it because I did it wrong and I am not
doing a finishing magazine I might include the
plug.
