Implemented visitor guidance within CrossCultour including sign posting, audio guides, and a bike trail. The project has several partners that worked together, including tourism groups from Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia in Germany and the Province of Modena in Italy. Audio guides were developed for 50 Romanesque buildings with over 750 audio files in multiple languages. New information signs were created for 84 buildings. The bike trail is around 400km split into 8 legs, connecting Romanesque sites and local foods in Saxony-Anhalt, Thuringia, and Modena.

accommodation, tourist information offices,
description of the CrossCulTour project, geo
referenced coordinates
 Due to the morphology of the provincial territory two
itineraries have been developed:
− South of Modena: hilly, 95 km
− North of Modena: plain, 90 km
 Each itinerary can be followed by using GPS tools
previously downloading the path on Sat Nav,
palmtops or smartphones (GPX format)
