migration to Ulaanbaatar will
become one of a number of viable
choices, and resources and
services will more adequately serve
communities over the long-term

5. Private Sector Partnerships for innovative supply
chain development, investment strategies and
ownership structures that jump start growth in
the rural economy
To achieve our vision of resilient, dynamic, and growing rural
communities Mercy Corps will join forces with key partners in
Mongolia
Engagement with government to fast track
effective public sector services, civic
engagement in development processes;
strategic investment and improved enabling
environments
Mobilizing innovative partnerships across
sectors, expertise and functions to ensure
that the best thinking and solutions are
realized

6. Initiate assessment, research and
planning process
Conduct stakeholder engagement
events
Identify systemic changes to be
realized
Launch selected pilots
Deploy impact measurement
system.
By June 2016 fully operational
program implementation is
