2. Hi – my name is Harit Soni – and I am honoured to be selected as a Global
Ambassador for the 2041 Movement and International Antarctic Expedition -
‘Climate Force - 2018’ , led by the Environmental leader – Sir Robert Swan.
I would love your participation and to help me to further this movement and create
an example of how we can sustainably and economically develop solutions for the
Climate change challenge!

3. WHAT IS 2041
2041 was found by Polar Explorer, Environmental leader and public speaker
Robert Swan OBE. As the first person in history to walk both the North and
South Poles, Robert has dedicated his life to the preservation of Antarctica
by the promotion of recycling, renewable energy and sustainability to
combat the effects of Climate change

4. WHAT IS ANTARCTIC TREATY?
AND WHY THE NAME 2041?
Currently Antarctica is protected by the Antarctic treaty that
prohibits all activities related to the exploitation of mineral
resources, except for scientific research, in Antarctica. This
agreement will be reviewed in 2041, and it could be altered,
changed, modified, or even abandoned.
People up north have already started mining in the arctic in the
areas exposed due to melting ice sheets.
Robert Swan’s Goal is to Increase awareness now and garner
support by 2041 (50 year anniversary of the signing) to ensure that
the last great Wilderness on Earth – Antarctica - is never exploited
– and set an example for Humankind!

ANTARCTICA
February 26 – March 12, 2018
The Mission of Climate Force is to inform, engage and inspire the next generation of
leaders to take responsibility, and take action towards sustainable business, technology
and Policy.
The expedition brings together people and experts from across the globe – with the
guidance of researchers – to debate, discuss, and determine first hand the effects of
climate change. The vision for 2041 is to have leaders emerging from every corner of the
society and working together to create a sustainable world: Enlighted, Empowered and
engaged!

I am the Founder of Ecolibrium Energy – A

Govt. of India and implemented in 3 campuses in Pune.

11. MY REASON FOR JOINING 2041
CLIMATE FORCE
Sustainable has to be economic: As a Strong proponent of Climate change
technology solutions which are not only environmentally sustainable – but also
economically viable, I aim to share my story with young climate leaders on how to
convert sustainability ideas into businesses which can stand the test of time!
Need for future Climate Leaders : I aim to raise funds for Climate Force which is a
key platform for young Global leaders to get awareness, training and network
required to create sustainable ventures
Create an Impact with my Efforts: I pledge to provide my time and skill pro-bono to
help enterprises with large carbon footprints to become more sustainable – and give
hands on support to chart their part to sustainability!

CONTRIBUTION BE USED?
Your funds will be used for furthering the cause of 2041, and increasing
awareness of sustainable technologies for combating Climate change, and
creating young leaders who will get the chance to develop projects which
can turn into sustainable businesses . The total amount to be raised is INR
15,00,000.
A part of this would also cover my costs of attending Climate Force 2018,
and playing a key part of sharing my knowledge and creating future leaders
of the future

The Arctic has shrunk over the years and is 36 degrees warmer than normal. A
large shelf of ice has broken off from Antarctica which threatens to raise sea
levels.
Closer to home, Droughts in Maharashtra, Torrential rains that nearly drowned
Chennai, cloudburst in Ladakh, and pollution in Delhi are wreaking havoc on
Human Life.
