How to Make a Field Mandatory in Odoo 17Celine George
In Odoo, making a field required can be done through both Python code and XML views. When you set the required attribute to True in Python code, it makes the field required across all views where it's used. Conversely, when you set the required attribute in XML views, it makes the field required only in the context of that particular view.

The application deadline for the Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) program
has been extended to June 30, 2017. The competitive average for
admission to the program will be 70 per cent until the application
deadline.
The BCom program remains direct-entry for high school students -- they
do not require that applicants have pre-professional studies before
applying. All majors within the program will offer a co-op stream
beginning in Fall 2017.
Students considering pursuing careers in business are encouraged to
submit an application for admission to the Bachelor of Commerce as soon
as possible as they will evaluate your application for potential early
admission to the program on a first-come, first-served basis.
We are on a WEEK A
22. Second choice on application
All students applying to MacEwan University have the option of selecting a
second-choice program on your application. While many students are
certain of what their educational goals are, it is always in your best
interest to leave as many doors open as possible by selecting a second-
choice program.
The first-and second-choice programs on an application are evaluated
consecutively, so students will either be made an offer of admission or
declined for admission to their first-choice program before their
application to the second-choice program is evaluated. The only exception
is if a student is waitlisted to their first-choice program. In this case the
student will remain on the waitlist for the program but evaluation of the
application for the second-choice program will begin.
We are on a WEEK A
23. What to do after applying
Within one business day of submitting an application for admission,
you will receive a network ID letter containing your login
information for myStudentSystem, the university’s student portal.
This email will be sent to the address you provided on ApplyAlberta.
All further electronic communication from the university will go to
your myMacEwan Gmail account. If you do not receive your
network ID letter, you should contact admissions@macewan.ca for
assistance.
Check your myStudentSystem and your myMacEwan Gmail
accounts regularly to monitor for updates to your admission status
or for any outstanding conditions on your to-do list. You have 45
days to accept an offer of admission, otherwise it will be rescinded.
