The Home Builders Association of Fargo-Moorhead is hosting their Fall Parade of Homes and Remodeled Home Tour from September 17-25. The Parade will feature 54 new homes constructed by 31 builders across the Fargo-Moorhead region. The Tour will showcase 4 renovation projects. New this year, attendees can purchase $5 tickets online or through a mobile app to tour two luxury homes priced over $750,000, with proceeds benefiting the HBA's charitable foundation. The event provides a chance to view different home styles and renovations before the fall season.

Fall Parade of Homes, Remodeled Home Tour offer something for everyone
Fargo, N.D. - You have a chance before the leaves fall to view a showcase of 54 new homes by 31 builders, plus four
renovation projects, during the Home Builders Association of F-M’s Fall Parade of Homes and Remodeled Home Tour.
The Fall Parade of Homes runs two weekends: Sept. 17-18 and 24-25. The Remodeled Home Tour runs Sept. 24-25
only. Hours are noon - 5 p.m. each day. Admission is free, except for two luxurious featured homes which cost $5 with
proceeds donated to charity.
The Parade includes entries constructed by HBA of F-M Builder members
representing a wide range of home styles and prices Fargo, Horace, Mapleton,
Moorhead and West Fargo. Bright yellow and blue directional signs and
pennants will mark homes participating in the Parade.
The Tour features renovation projects that could include kitchen renovations, a
complete-home remodel, and master-suite refresh. Bright orange and blue
directional signs and pennants will mark homes participating in the Tour.
Magazine details
Parade of Homes/Tour magazines detailing each home entry will be available at all Hornbacher’s stores Sept. 12. The
magazine is a full-color publication with a half page dedicated to each home entry. It includes a detailed pull-out map to
each Parade/Tour entry, as well as a condensed listing of all homes entered in the event sorted by location, price and
builder/contractor. An insert with home listings will be included in The Forum Sept. 11.
Event implements ticketing feature, new website, mobile app
New this year, Parade attendees should purchase their $5 luxurious featured home tickets or register for their free general
admission ticket online, or through a new mobile app that will be available through the App Store and Google Play. By
using these new digital tools, you can browse information on each home, see the maps and plan your route, plus see
additional information and photos not included in the magazine.
Admission is still free to tour the majority of our homes (luxurious featured homes will cost $5). This ticketing process
allows the HBA of F-M to better-manage the event, improving attendees’ experience. Simply register to attend the event
and print out your ticket with a QR code, or have it available on your mobile device, when you enter the homes. A ticket is
encouraged but not required to view the free homes.
Luxurious Featured Homes
Each year, HBA members volunteer Parade of Homes entries priced $750,000 and higher to be “featured” homes in a
fundraising effort to support their industry, Association and charity. Look for more details in the event magazine, mobile
app or at www.paradefm.com.
The cost is $5 to tour both homes: #9 by Monarch Homes priced at $870,500 and #50 by Footitt Homes priced at
$985,000. Money raised goes to Home Builders Care of Fargo-Moorhead Foundation, the HBA’s charitable foundation. It
supports skill training, education and projects related to the housing industry.
