Over 11,000 people registered for the 2014 Walk for Life event in Columbia, South Carolina, with over 8,000 registering online. The majority of registrants were between the ages of 21 and 50, female, and part of a team of two or more people walking or running together. Nearly all registrants were from South Carolina with most coming from Richland, Lexington, and Kershaw counties. The event website saw over 45,000 unique visitors and extensive social media engagement during the week of the event.
