The CityMatters survey asks citizens what it's really like to live in Halifax and how they feel about our economy, lifestyle, government and more. This presentation was prepared by Rick Emberley, Senior Council for MQO Research highlighting the results of the survey. There was an interactive panel discussion which took place on December 1, 2014 at the Prince George Hotel.

Editor's Notes
*For overall quality, 74% of respondents in Ottawa and 61% of respondents in Toronto gave a top 3 score
* 2011: Scale was 1-10 satisfaction scale instead of 1-10 very poor-excellent
The percentages for Incidence: Use Active Transportation still need to be updated – I had our data team do some additional analysis for this question.
The percentages for 2014 still need to be updated.
These percentages represent the respondents who either strongly support or support each project.
Respondents were equally divided when it comes to their opinions on whether Halifax’s Development Policies favour (31%) or inhibit (29%) development. 22% said neither favour nor inhibit.
