Riccardo Rotondo from the Consortium GARR presents on science gateways and the Catania Science Gateway Framework. The framework provides a single portal for users to access many e-infrastructures and related services through standards-based science gateways. It utilizes federated authentication, a job management system, modular e-infrastructure and data services, and cloud integration. The goal is to increase accessibility and reuse of applications across infrastructures. Training materials and an open source codebase are also provided to encourage community involvement.
