The district art show at Farmington High School on May 2, 2013, showcased over 1500 art pieces from students in grades K-12, including work from elementary and middle school students. The event featured performances, pottery demonstrations, and advanced high school artists' painting exhibits, drawing in thousands of attendees. School board member Jake Cordes attended to support the students and the efforts of the art teaching staff.
