6. Enhance and support the educational
experience at our school
Develop a closer connection between
school and home by encouraging parent
involvement—40 hours per year per family
Improve the environment at our school
through volunteer and financial support.

7.  All parents/guardians of children attending Maria
Montessori Academy are automatically members of
MAPA
 No dues are required for MAPA membership
 General MAPA meetings will be held twice per year—
September and May
 We will vote on the budget in the fall and the MAPA
officers in the spring
 Members of MAPA may join committees in the areas
they would like to volunteer.
