Kyja Wilburn has experience in biology, environmental chemistry, education, and community service. She co-chaired the student caucus at Warren Wilson College for two years, researching and writing policy recommendations. She also worked as an itinerant special education paraeducator and tutored high school students in geometry and precalculus. Her community service includes organizing clothing swaps, tutoring students with learning barriers, and assisting with experiential education.
