This document discusses two medieval murals found in Massa Marittima, Italy. The earliest mural from the 13th century was discovered in 2000 and depicts the earliest known representation of witchcraft in Christian Europe. It was found under layers of paint next to a fountain in the center of Massa Marittima. The second mural from 1480 depicts Eustace's vision of the crucified Christ in the antlers of a hundred stag and had survived for hundreds of years.
