This study compares perceptions of classroom climate between 1,431 students and 74 teachers from Texas elementary schools to identify factors influencing student satisfaction. Results reveal that student perceptions of cohesion and difficulty positively correlate with satisfaction, while friction and competition negatively impact it; notably, there is a low correlation between teacher and student perceptions, with only teacher perceived cohesion significantly related to student satisfaction. The findings emphasize the importance of student feedback in enhancing educational environments and suggest areas for further research in classroom climate dynamics.
