Let us all rejoice in the Lord, as
we celebrate the feast day in
honour of all the Saints, at
whose festival the Angels rejoice
and praise the Son of God.
In the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the
Holy Spirit.
All: Amen We Gather
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ,
and the love of God, and the
communion of the Holy Spirit be
with you all.
All: And with your spirit.

you take away the sins of
the world, have mercy on

many intercessors, an abundance of
the reconciliation with you for which
we earnestly long.
The Collect
Through our Lord Jesus Christ,
your Son, who lives and reigns
with you in the unity of the Holy
Spirit, one God, for ever and
ever.
All: Amen
The Collect
The First
Reading
A reading from the book of
the Apocalypse
I, John, saw another angel
rising where the sun rises,
carrying the seal of the living
God; he called in a powerful
voice to the four angels
whose duty was to devastate
land and sea, ‘Wait before
you do any damage on land
or at sea or to the trees, until
we have put the seal on the
foreheads of the servants of
our God.’ Then I heard how
many were sealed: a hundred
and forty-four thousand, out
of all the tribes of Israel.
After that I saw a huge
number, impossible to count,
of people from every nation,
race, tribe and language; they
were standing in front of the
throne and in front of the
Lamb, dressed in white robes
and holding palms in their
hands. They shouted aloud,
‘Victory to our God, who sits
on the throne, and to the
Lamb!’ And all the angels
who were standing in a circle
round the throne,
surrounding the elders and
the four animals, prostrated
themselves before the throne,
and touched the ground with
their foreheads, worshipping
God with these words, ‘Amen.
Praise and glory and wisdom
and thanksgiving
and honour and power and
strength to our God for ever
and ever. Amen.’
One of the elders then spoke,
and asked me, ‘Do you know
who these people are,
dressed in white robes, and
where they have come from?’
I answered him, ‘You can tell
me, my lord.’ Then he said,
‘These are the people who have
been through the great
persecution, and they have
washed their robes white again in
the blood of the Lamb.’
The Word
of the Lord
Thanks be to God.
Such are the men
who seek your
face, O Lord.
The Psalm
The Lord’s is the earth and its
fullness, the world and all its
peoples. It is he who set it on the
seas; on the waters he made it
firm.
The Psalm
Such are the men
who seek your
face, O Lord.
The Psalm
Who shall climb the mountain of
the Lord? Who shall stand in his
holy place? The man with clean
hands and pure heart, who
desires not worthless things.
The Psalm
Such are the men
who seek your
face, O Lord.
The Psalm
He shall receive blessings from the
Lord and reward from the God
who saves him. Such are the
men who seek him, seek the face
of the God of Jacob.
The Psalm
Such are the men
who seek your
face, O Lord.
The Psalm
The Second Reading
A reading from the first letter
of St John
Think of the love that the
Father has lavished on us,
by letting us be called God’s
children; and that is what we
are. Because the world
refused to acknowledge him,
therefore it does not
acknowledge us. My dear
people, we are already the
children of God but what we
are to be in the future has
not yet been revealed; all we
know is, that when it is
revealed we shall be like him
because we shall see him as
he really is. Surely everyone
who entertains this hope
must purify himself, must try
to be as pure as Christ.
The Word
of the Lord
Thanks be to God.
Alleluia, alleluia!
Come to me, all you who labour
and are overburdened and I will
give you rest, says the Lord.
Alleluia!
Gospel Acclamation
The Lord be with you.
And with your spirit.
A Reading from the holy Gospel
according to Matthew.
Glory to you, O Lord.
The Gospel
Seeing the crowds, Jesus
went up the hill. There he sat
down and was joined by his
disciples. Then he began to
speak. This is what he taught
them: ‘How happy are the
poor in spirit; theirs is the
kingdom of heaven. Happy
the gentle: they shall have
the earth for their heritage.
Happy those who mourn:
they shall be comforted.
Happy those who hunger and
thirst for what is right: they
shall be satisfied. Happy the
merciful: they shall have
mercy shown them. Happy
the pure in heart: they shall
see God. Happy the
peacemakers: they shall be
called sons of God. Happy
those who are persecuted in
the cause of right: theirs is
the kingdom of heaven.
‘Happy are you when people
abuse you and persecute you
and speak all kinds of calumny
against you on my account.
Rejoice and be glad, for your
reward will be great in heaven.’
The Gospel of the Lord
Praise to you, Lord
Jesus Christ.
I believe in God, the Father
almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, his only
Son, our Lord,
The Apostles’
who was conceived by the
Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
The Apostles’
was crucified, died and was
buried;
he descended into hell;
on the third day he rose again
from the dead;
The Apostles’
he ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right
hand of God the Father
almighty;
The Apostles’
from there he will come to
judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
The Apostles’
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting.
Amen
The Apostles’
Prayer of the Faithful
Celebrant: Today, we join our
prayers to the prayers of all the
saints in heaven, who are our great
crowd of witnesses, interceding for
us at the right hand of the Father. Let
us now ask the Lord with renewed
faith, for the needs of our Church
and world.
1. Let us pray for the Church on earth,
especially for Francis our Pope. May all
Christians be inspired by the example of
the saints in heaven; may they serve
God with a similar commitment.
Lord, hear us
All: Lord graciously hear us
2. We pray for peace on earth,
asking that those in authority may
follow the example of the saints who
worked for peace and love.
Lord, hear us
All: Lord graciously hear us
3. Let us pray for ourselves, asking
God for His comfort, protection and
guiding light as the dark nights of
winter are upon us.
Lord, hear us
All: Lord graciously hear us.
4. We pray for those in need, and
those who care for them, that they
may see the love of Christ for them
as they ponder on the lives of the
saints who suffered.
Lord, hear us
All: Lord graciously hear us
5. We pray for those who have died
in the hope of new life, asking that
Christ may bring them to share in his
glory with all the saints.
Lord hear us
All: Lord graciously hear us
6. In silence, we put our own needs
before our loving Lord, especially
those intentions mentioned in our
Book.
Mary, Our Mother, Queen of the
Saints, we ask you to teach us how
to pray unselfishly, as we say:
Hail Mary, full of grace. The
Lord is with thee. Blessed
art thou among
women, and blessed
is the fruit of
thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother
of God, pray for us
sinners, now and
at the hour of our
death. Amen.
Celebrant: Almighty Lord, we bring
before you all our needs, trusting
that you will hear and answer them,
as we pray with all the saints. We
make this prayer through Christ our
Lord, Amen.
Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation,
for through your goodness we have
received the bread we offer you: fruit of
the earth and work of human hands, it will
become for us the bread of life.
All: Blessed be God for ever.
Presentation and preparation of the
Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation,
for through your goodness we have
received the wine we offer you: fruit of the
vine and work of human hands it will
become our spiritual drink.
All: Blessed be God for ever.
Presentation and preparation of the
Pray, my brothers and sisters,
that my sacrifice and yours may
be acceptable to God, the
almighty Father.
All: May the Lord accept the
sacrifice at your hands, for
the praise and glory of his
name, for our good, and the
good of all his holy Church.
May these offerings we bring in honour of
all the Saints be pleasing to you, O Lord,
and grant that, just as we believe the Saints
to be already assured of immortality, so we
may experience their concern for our
salvation. Through Christ our Lord.
All: Amen
Prayer over the offerings
The Lord be with you.
All: And with your spirit.
Lift up your hearts.
All: We lift them up to the Lord.
Let us give thanks to the Lord, our God.
All: It is right and just.Preface Dialogue
Holy, holy, holy Lord God of
hosts, Heaven and earth are full
of your glory. Hosanna in the
highest. Blessed is he who
comes in the name of the Lord.
Hosanna in the highest.
When we eat this Bread
and drink this Cup, we
proclaim your death, O
Lord, until you come
again.
Memorial Acclamation
Through him, and with him, and in
him, O God, almighty Father, in the
unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and
honour is yours, for ever and ever.
All: Amen!
Our Father who art
in heaven, hallowed
be thy name, thy
kingdom come, thy
will be done,
on earth as it is in
heaven.
Give us this day our
daily bread.
And forgive us our
trespasses
as we forgive those
who trespass
against us.
And lead us
not into
temptation,
but deliver us
from evil.
Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every
evil, graciously grant peace in our days,
that, by the help of your mercy, we may
be always free from sin and safe from
all distress, and useless worry, as we
await the blessed hope and the coming
of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
All: For the kingdom, the
power, and the glory are
yours, now and forever.
Lord Jesus Christ, who said
to your Apostles, Peace I
leave you, my peace I give
you, look not on our sins, but
on the faith of your Church,
and graciously grant her
peace and unity in
accordance with your will.
Who live and reign for ever
and ever. Amen
The Peace of the Lord be
with you always.
And with your
spirit.
Let us offer each other
the sign of peace
We Share God’s Peace

Behold the Lamb of God, behold
him who takes away the sins of
the world. Blessed are those
called to the supper of the
Lamb.

  • 1.
  • 2. Entrance antiphon Let us all rejoice in the Lord, as we celebrate the feast day in honour of all the Saints, at whose festival the Angels rejoice and praise the Son of God.
  • 3. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. All: Amen We Gather
  • 4. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. All: And with your spirit. We Gather
  • 5.
  • 6. …Lord, have mercy. Lord, have mercy …Christ, have mercy. Christ, have mercy …Lord, have mercy. Lord, have mercy Penitential act
  • 7. May almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and bring us to everlasting life. All: Amen. Penitential act
  • 8. Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to people of good will. We praise you, we bless you, we adore you, The Gloria
  • 9. we glorify you, we give you thanks for your great glory, Lord God, heavenly King, O God, almighty Father. The Gloria
  • 10. Lord Jesus Christ, Only Begotten Son, Lord God, Lamb of God, Son of the Father, The Gloria
  • 11. you take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us; you take away the sins of the world, receive our prayer; The Gloria
  • 12. you are seated at the right hand of the Father, have mercy on us. For you alone are the Holy One, you alone are the Lord, The Gloria
  • 13. you alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit, in the glory of God the Father. Amen. The Gloria
  • 14. Almighty ever-living God, by whose gift we venerate in one celebration the merits of all the Saints, bestow on us, we pray, through the prayers of so many intercessors, an abundance of the reconciliation with you for which we earnestly long. The Collect
  • 15. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. All: Amen The Collect
  • 17. A reading from the book of the Apocalypse I, John, saw another angel rising where the sun rises,
  • 18. carrying the seal of the living God; he called in a powerful voice to the four angels whose duty was to devastate land and sea, ‘Wait before
  • 19. you do any damage on land or at sea or to the trees, until we have put the seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.’ Then I heard how
  • 20. many were sealed: a hundred and forty-four thousand, out of all the tribes of Israel. After that I saw a huge number, impossible to count,
  • 21. of people from every nation, race, tribe and language; they were standing in front of the throne and in front of the Lamb, dressed in white robes
  • 22. and holding palms in their hands. They shouted aloud, ‘Victory to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!’ And all the angels
  • 23. who were standing in a circle round the throne, surrounding the elders and the four animals, prostrated themselves before the throne,
  • 24. and touched the ground with their foreheads, worshipping God with these words, ‘Amen. Praise and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving
  • 25. and honour and power and strength to our God for ever and ever. Amen.’ One of the elders then spoke, and asked me, ‘Do you know
  • 26. who these people are, dressed in white robes, and where they have come from?’ I answered him, ‘You can tell me, my lord.’ Then he said,
  • 27. ‘These are the people who have been through the great persecution, and they have washed their robes white again in the blood of the Lamb.’
  • 28. The Word of the Lord Thanks be to God.
  • 29. Such are the men who seek your face, O Lord. The Psalm
  • 30. The Lord’s is the earth and its fullness, the world and all its peoples. It is he who set it on the seas; on the waters he made it firm. The Psalm
  • 31. Such are the men who seek your face, O Lord. The Psalm
  • 32. Who shall climb the mountain of the Lord? Who shall stand in his holy place? The man with clean hands and pure heart, who desires not worthless things. The Psalm
  • 33. Such are the men who seek your face, O Lord. The Psalm
  • 34. He shall receive blessings from the Lord and reward from the God who saves him. Such are the men who seek him, seek the face of the God of Jacob. The Psalm
  • 35. Such are the men who seek your face, O Lord. The Psalm
  • 37. A reading from the first letter of St John Think of the love that the Father has lavished on us,
  • 38. by letting us be called God’s children; and that is what we are. Because the world refused to acknowledge him, therefore it does not
  • 39. acknowledge us. My dear people, we are already the children of God but what we are to be in the future has not yet been revealed; all we
  • 40. know is, that when it is revealed we shall be like him because we shall see him as he really is. Surely everyone
  • 41. who entertains this hope must purify himself, must try to be as pure as Christ.
  • 42. The Word of the Lord Thanks be to God.
  • 43. Alleluia, alleluia! Come to me, all you who labour and are overburdened and I will give you rest, says the Lord. Alleluia! Gospel Acclamation
  • 44. The Lord be with you. And with your spirit. A Reading from the holy Gospel according to Matthew. Glory to you, O Lord. The Gospel
  • 45. Seeing the crowds, Jesus went up the hill. There he sat down and was joined by his disciples. Then he began to speak. This is what he taught
  • 46. them: ‘How happy are the poor in spirit; theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Happy the gentle: they shall have the earth for their heritage.
  • 47. Happy those who mourn: they shall be comforted. Happy those who hunger and thirst for what is right: they shall be satisfied. Happy the
  • 48. merciful: they shall have mercy shown them. Happy the pure in heart: they shall see God. Happy the peacemakers: they shall be
  • 49. called sons of God. Happy those who are persecuted in the cause of right: theirs is the kingdom of heaven. ‘Happy are you when people
  • 50. abuse you and persecute you and speak all kinds of calumny against you on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven.’
  • 51. The Gospel of the Lord Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
  • 52.
  • 53. I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, The Apostles’
  • 54. who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, The Apostles’
  • 55. was crucified, died and was buried; he descended into hell; on the third day he rose again from the dead; The Apostles’
  • 56. he ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; The Apostles’
  • 57. from there he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, The Apostles’
  • 58. the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen The Apostles’
  • 59. Prayer of the Faithful
  • 60. Celebrant: Today, we join our prayers to the prayers of all the saints in heaven, who are our great crowd of witnesses, interceding for us at the right hand of the Father. Let us now ask the Lord with renewed faith, for the needs of our Church and world.
  • 61. 1. Let us pray for the Church on earth, especially for Francis our Pope. May all Christians be inspired by the example of the saints in heaven; may they serve God with a similar commitment. Lord, hear us All: Lord graciously hear us
  • 62. 2. We pray for peace on earth, asking that those in authority may follow the example of the saints who worked for peace and love. Lord, hear us All: Lord graciously hear us
  • 63. 3. Let us pray for ourselves, asking God for His comfort, protection and guiding light as the dark nights of winter are upon us. Lord, hear us All: Lord graciously hear us.
  • 64. 4. We pray for those in need, and those who care for them, that they may see the love of Christ for them as they ponder on the lives of the saints who suffered. Lord, hear us All: Lord graciously hear us
  • 65. 5. We pray for those who have died in the hope of new life, asking that Christ may bring them to share in his glory with all the saints. Lord hear us All: Lord graciously hear us
  • 66. 6. In silence, we put our own needs before our loving Lord, especially those intentions mentioned in our Book.
  • 67. Mary, Our Mother, Queen of the Saints, we ask you to teach us how to pray unselfishly, as we say:
  • 68. Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
  • 69. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
  • 70. Celebrant: Almighty Lord, we bring before you all our needs, trusting that you will hear and answer them, as we pray with all the saints. We make this prayer through Christ our Lord, Amen.
  • 71.
  • 72. Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation, for through your goodness we have received the bread we offer you: fruit of the earth and work of human hands, it will become for us the bread of life. All: Blessed be God for ever. Presentation and preparation of the

  • 75.
  • 76. Pray, my brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God, the almighty Father.
  • 77. All: May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands, for the praise and glory of his name, for our good, and the good of all his holy Church.
  • 78. May these offerings we bring in honour of all the Saints be pleasing to you, O Lord, and grant that, just as we believe the Saints to be already assured of immortality, so we may experience their concern for our salvation. Through Christ our Lord. All: Amen Prayer over the offerings
  • 79. The Lord be with you.   All: And with your spirit. Lift up your hearts.    All: We lift them up to the Lord. Let us give thanks to the Lord, our God.   All: It is right and just.Preface Dialogue

  • 85. Through him, and with him, and in him, O God, almighty Father, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honour is yours, for ever and ever. All: Amen!
  • 86.
  • 87. Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
  • 88. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.
  • 89. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
  • 90. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, and useless worry, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
  • 91. All: For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and forever.
  • 92. Lord Jesus Christ, who said to your Apostles, Peace I leave you, my peace I give you, look not on our sins, but on the faith of your Church,
  • 93. and graciously grant her peace and unity in accordance with your will. Who live and reign for ever and ever. Amen
  • 94. The Peace of the Lord be with you always. And with your spirit. Let us offer each other the sign of peace We Share God’s Peace
  • 95. Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world: have mercy on us. Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world: have mercy on us. Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world: grant us peace.Fraction of the Bread
