grade
My name is Thanassis and I am 11
years old. My eyes are blue and my hair is brown.
I am a pupil in the 5th
class of the Primary School
of Sourpi. I am a very good student and I study
very hard.
There are six people in my family. They are my
father, my mother, my sister, Mary, my brother,
George, my baby sister and me. We are a happy
family, because we spend a lot of time together
and we help each other.
I live in a big, nice house in Sourpi. I am very
proud of my town, because it has got everything,
sea, mountains, countryside and a lot of
interesting places.
In my free time I enjoy playing and cycling with
my friends. I love going fishing with my father on
our boat. If we are lucky, we catch some fish!
What fun the next day, when we can have them
freshly cooked for our lunch!
Evelina - 4th
grade
My name is Evelina. I am ten years old. I come
from Sourpi. I am in D’ Class.
My mum’s name is Mary and my dad’s name is
Panagiotis. I have got two brothers, too,
Mimis and Nikos.
Our house has got three floors, a big garden
and a parking. It is a beautiful house. Also, I
have got a dog. His name is Dexter. It’s white,
black and a little brown.
I like football, dancing, singing and volleyball.
My hobby is cycling. My favourite food is
‘pastitsio’. My favourite colours are pink, light
yellow and light green.

dad, Alekos, is a fireman and my mum, Maria doesn’t work because I have got five brothers and sisters:
my older sister, Foteini, my younger sister Chryssa and Christine and my younger brother Jim. My
hobbies are football, basketball and cycling. I have also got a dog. Its name is Rex and I love it!
Georgia – 5th

Hi! I am Georgia! I am 10 years old and I am in E’ Class. I am tall, I have long hair, I have brown hair and
I am thin. I like sports like volleyball, basketball, volleyball at the beach, tennis, baseball and golf. I like
eating fruit, vegetables, candies, chocolates, fast food, croissants, toasted sandwiches, pizzas,
doughnuts, popcorn, bake rolls and home-made food.

Class. I have a small nose, ears and eyes. I have brown eyes.
I am nine years old and I am beautiful.
My family is friendly and kind. My mum cooks very well,

My house is very beautiful. It has four floors and a garden with thirteen trees and a lot of flowers.

and I am almost 12 years old. I
have brown eyes and hair. I am
not very tall and also I am thin.
In my free time I love listening to music, singing foreign
music, exercising my body, hanging out with my friends,
so I spend my time enjoyably! In my opinion, I am a good
student and I have high marks. When I grow up, I want
to be a military officer, because I love it!
Additionally, my mum’s name is Krina and she comes from
Romania. Nikos is my dad and he comes from Greece. I
also have two brothers, Thomas and Alex. Thomas is 14
and Alex is 10 years old. Every day I fight with my
brothers because we disagree, but I love them! That’s
all about me and my family!

very good at Maths. In my free time I love riding my bike and playing football. At the

Hi! My name is Dina and I am 10 years old. I come from Greece and I live in
Sourpi, a small village near Volos. I am a pupil in D’ Class.
I live with my family. My dad’s name is Christos, my mum’s Mina and my
sister’s Mary. My house is big. There are ten rooms and there are two floors.
I have got three pets, two dogs and one cat.
My favourite sport is football and my hobbies are drawing pictures and playing computer games. I

in the fifth class. I live in Sourpi, a small beautiful village in Greece.
I’m fond of gymnastics and reading books. My favourite food is spaghetti
with minced meat, but my favourite colours are green and blue. In my free
time I either watch TV or play with my friends.
My family is quite big. My mum, Eleni, is the cook in the house and she helps all of us in our family.
She treats me and my siblings the same! My dad, Thanassis, is a farmer and he brings the money in
the house. He teases us very often, but, for me, he is the best father! My brother, Stathis, is a
student in the third class of Junior High School. He teases us, too! My sister, Angela, is a student in
the first class of Junior High School. My sister and I go to the English school together.

at a factory. My favourite subjects are History and Maths. My favourite colours are
blue, red and yellow.
Kostas – 6th

My name is Kostas. I am eleven years old and I am from Greece. I am in the 6th
Class. I have a
younger brother and a younger sister in my family. There’s also my mum and dad! My house is in the
village. It is big and it has a kitchen, a bathroom, a living room and bedrooms. I have got a pet, it is
big and beautiful. My favourite sport is football for many reasons. First of all, I keep fit and
communicate with my friends. Second, it is fun and I become sociable. My hobby is playing
basketball and I also study. My favourite food is spaghetti and pizza. My favourite colours are red,
yellow, green and black.

I sometimes go to the swimming pool and, after that,
I go to ballet. My favourite hobby is painting and in
my free time I listen to music. I like eating potatoes
with chicken, fish and fruit. All of my pencils are
pink, because it is my favourite colour, but I like red,
too. That is my life and I am very glad for this!
Chryssa – 5th

in Sourpi. We are a big family. There are seven
people in my family: my mum, Maria, my dad, Alekos,
