The Rashi Foundation was established in 1984 by Gustave Leven to support the future and well-being of the Jewish people and Israel. It aims to build a strong, equal, and just Israeli society through high-impact initiatives that address the root causes of social inequality, from early childhood education to employment. Some of its key projects include a national cyber initiative, expanding early childhood education in the periphery, and establishing regional science education centers. The Foundation also partners with other philanthropies and sectors to facilitate strategic giving and create effective long-term social change across Israel.
