Jesus Christ is a Jew. The authors of all the books in the Bible , except Dr Luke are all Jews. They wrote to their Jewish audience with a Jewish mindset using Jewish cultural idioms, phrases and proverbs. The audience were initially all Jewish and later mixed with gentile disciples who understood these. Somewhere the Church severed its links with the Jewish people and Hebrew language, thereby losing a vast and rich heritage in scriptures. Misinterpretations and doctrinal differences began to dissect and divide the church into splinter groups. In these End Times, the Lord in His grace, is restoring the Hebraic Heritage to the Church, which truly seeks to know Him and worship Him in spirit and in truth and move ahead in its mission. If You Base Medicine on Science, It Kills PeopleArnulfo Laniba
This presentation shows that medicine, in order to be life-restoring and effective, must be off-science, meaning: not based on present system of science, e.g., chemistry which is opposing God's natural way and hampering God's system .of prevention and cure
Through the agencies of nature, God is working, day by day, hour by hour, moment by moment, to keep us alive, to build up and restore us. When any part of the body sustains injury, a healing process is at once begun; nature's agencies are set at work to restore soundness. But the power working through these agencies is the power of God. All life-giving power is from Him. When one recovers from disease, it is God who restores him.
- Ministry of Healing, p.113
There are Many Ways of Practicing the Healing art, But there is only one way that Heaven approves. God's remedies are the simple agencies of nature that will not tax or debilitate the system through their powerful properties. - Ellen White, 5 Testimonies p.443
The snowflake is a beautiful things. No two are alike. In this presentation I explain how we are like snowflakes. There is no one else like you and there never will be. In this fast paced world it's so easy to get caught up in losing our identity of who we are. The world tells us how to be and how to live but in that process if we are not daily getting our identity from the Lord we will lose ourselves, our purpose, our mission. This talk speaks to ultimately seeking his kingdom first to get the full understanding of how to take care of our bodies. If we try to take care of our bodies based on what the world says, it quickly becomes an idol. The Lord will direct your steps and free you from bondage of seeking what the world has to offer. He will show you what foods to eat, what exercises you need to do, what relationships you need to cultivate. As we are here for his Glory and his Kingdom and our vessels need to be strong to carry out his work.

Flu Vaccine Alert in Bangalore Karnatakaaddon Scans
As flu season approaches, health officials in Bangalore, Karnataka, are urging residents to get their flu vaccinations. The seasonal flu, while common, can lead to severe health complications, particularly for vulnerable populations such as young children, the elderly, and those with underlying health conditions.
Dr. Vidisha Kumari, a leading epidemiologist in Bangalore, emphasizes the importance of getting vaccinated. "The flu vaccine is our best defense against the influenza virus. It not only protects individuals but also helps prevent the spread of the virus in our communities," he says.
This year, the flu season is expected to coincide with a potential increase in other respiratory illnesses. The Karnataka Health Department has launched an awareness campaign highlighting the significance of flu vaccinations. They have set up multiple vaccination centers across Bangalore, making it convenient for residents to receive their shots.
To encourage widespread vaccination, the government is also collaborating with local schools, workplaces, and community centers to facilitate vaccination drives. Special attention is being given to ensuring that the vaccine is accessible to all, including marginalized communities who may have limited access to healthcare.
Residents are reminded that the flu vaccine is safe and effective. Common side effects are mild and may include soreness at the injection site, mild fever, or muscle aches. These side effects are generally short-lived and far less severe than the flu itself.
Healthcare providers are also stressing the importance of continuing COVID-19 precautions. Wearing masks, practicing good hand hygiene, and maintaining social distancing are still crucial, especially in crowded places.
Protect yourself and your loved ones by getting vaccinated. Together, we can help keep Bangalore healthy and safe this flu season. For more information on vaccination centers and schedules, residents can visit the Karnataka Health Department’s official website or follow their social media pages.
Stay informed, stay safe, and get your flu shot today!
Title: Sense of Smell
Presenter: Dr. Faiza, Assistant Professor of Physiology
Qualifications:
MBBS (Best Graduate, AIMC Lahore)
FCPS Physiology
ICMT, CHPE, DHPE (STMU)
MPH (GC University, Faisalabad)
MBA (Virtual University of Pakistan)
Learning Objectives:
Describe the primary categories of smells and the concept of odor blindness.
Explain the structure and location of the olfactory membrane and mucosa, including the types and roles of cells involved in olfaction.
Describe the pathway and mechanisms of olfactory signal transmission from the olfactory receptors to the brain.
Illustrate the biochemical cascade triggered by odorant binding to olfactory receptors, including the role of G-proteins and second messengers in generating an action potential.
Identify different types of olfactory disorders such as anosmia, hyposmia, hyperosmia, and dysosmia, including their potential causes.
Key Topics:
Olfactory Genes:
3% of the human genome accounts for olfactory genes.
400 genes for odorant receptors.
Olfactory Membrane:
Located in the superior part of the nasal cavity.
Medially: Folds downward along the superior septum.
Laterally: Folds over the superior turbinate and upper surface of the middle turbinate.
Total surface area: 5-10 square centimeters.
Olfactory Mucosa:
Olfactory Cells: Bipolar nerve cells derived from the CNS (100 million), with 4-25 olfactory cilia per cell.
Sustentacular Cells: Produce mucus and maintain ionic and molecular environment.
Basal Cells: Replace worn-out olfactory cells with an average lifespan of 1-2 months.
Bowman’s Gland: Secretes mucus.
Stimulation of Olfactory Cells:
Odorant dissolves in mucus and attaches to receptors on olfactory cilia.
Involves a cascade effect through G-proteins and second messengers, leading to depolarization and action potential generation in the olfactory nerve.
Quality of a Good Odorant:
Small (3-20 Carbon atoms), volatile, water-soluble, and lipid-soluble.
Facilitated by odorant-binding proteins in mucus.
Membrane Potential and Action Potential:
Resting membrane potential: -55mV.
Action potential frequency in the olfactory nerve increases with odorant strength.
Adaptation Towards the Sense of Smell:
Rapid adaptation within the first second, with further slow adaptation.
Psychological adaptation greater than receptor adaptation, involving feedback inhibition from the central nervous system.
Primary Sensations of Smell:
Camphoraceous, Musky, Floral, Pepperminty, Ethereal, Pungent, Putrid.
Odor Detection Threshold:
Examples: Hydrogen sulfide (0.0005 ppm), Methyl-mercaptan (0.002 ppm).
Some toxic substances are odorless at lethal concentrations.
Characteristics of Smell:
Odor blindness for single substances due to lack of appropriate receptor protein.
Behavioral and emotional influences of smell.
Transmission of Olfactory Signals:
From olfactory cells to glomeruli in the olfactory bulb, involving lateral inhibition.
Primitive, less old, and new olfactory systems with different path
Acute scrotum is a general term referring to an emergency condition affecting the contents or the wall of the scrotum.
There are a number of conditions that present acutely, predominantly with pain and/or swelling
A careful and detailed history and examination, and in some cases, investigations allow differentiation between these diagnoses. A prompt diagnosis is essential as the patient may require urgent surgical intervention
Testicular torsion refers to twisting of the spermatic cord, causing ischaemia of the testicle.
Testicular torsion results from inadequate fixation of the testis to the tunica vaginalis producing ischemia from reduced arterial inflow and venous outflow obstruction.
The prevalence of testicular torsion in adult patients hospitalized with acute scrotal pain is approximately 25 to 50 percent

The prostate is an exocrine gland of the male mammalian reproductive system
It is a walnut-sized gland that forms part of the male reproductive system and is located in front of the rectum and just below the urinary bladder
Function is to store and secrete a clear, slightly alkaline fluid that constitutes 10-30% of the volume of the seminal fluid that along with the spermatozoa, constitutes semen
A healthy human prostate measures (4cm-vertical, by 3cm-horizontal, 2cm ant-post ).
It surrounds the urethra just below the urinary bladder. It has anterior, median, posterior and two lateral lobes
It’s work is regulated by androgens which are responsible for male sex characteristics
Generalised disease of the prostate due to hormonal derangement which leads to non malignant enlargement of the gland (increase in the number of epithelial cells and stromal tissue)to cause compression of the urethra leading to symptoms (LUTS

New Directions in Targeted Therapeutic Approaches for Older Adults With Mantl...i3 Health
i3 Health is pleased to make the speaker slides from this activity available for use as a non-accredited self-study or teaching resource.
This slide deck presented by Dr. Kami Maddocks, Professor-Clinical in the Division of Hematology and
Associate Division Director for Ambulatory Operations
The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center, will provide insight into new directions in targeted therapeutic approaches for older adults with mantle cell lymphoma.
STATEMENT OF NEED
Mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) is a rare, aggressive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) accounting for 5% to 7% of all lymphomas. Its prognosis ranges from indolent disease that does not require treatment for years to very aggressive disease, which is associated with poor survival (Silkenstedt et al, 2021). Typically, MCL is diagnosed at advanced stage and in older patients who cannot tolerate intensive therapy (NCCN, 2022). Although recent advances have slightly increased remission rates, recurrence and relapse remain very common, leading to a median overall survival between 3 and 6 years (LLS, 2021). Though there are several effective options, progress is still needed towards establishing an accepted frontline approach for MCL (Castellino et al, 2022). Treatment selection and management of MCL are complicated by the heterogeneity of prognosis, advanced age and comorbidities of patients, and lack of an established standard approach for treatment, making it vital that clinicians be familiar with the latest research and advances in this area. In this activity chaired by Michael Wang, MD, Professor in the Department of Lymphoma & Myeloma at MD Anderson Cancer Center, expert faculty will discuss prognostic factors informing treatment, the promising results of recent trials in new therapeutic approaches, and the implications of treatment resistance in therapeutic selection for MCL.
Target Audience
Hematology/oncology fellows, attending faculty, and other health care professionals involved in the treatment of patients with mantle cell lymphoma (MCL).
Learning Objectives
1.) Identify clinical and biological prognostic factors that can guide treatment decision making for older adults with MCL
2.) Evaluate emerging data on targeted therapeutic approaches for treatment-naive and relapsed/refractory MCL and their applicability to older adults
3.) Assess mechanisms of resistance to targeted therapies for MCL and their implications for treatment selection

DedicationDedication
This book is DEDICATED:
First, to the suffering ones who need help, yet so often
do not know where to find it.
As you study and, perhaps, use some of the simple remedies in this vol-
ume, go frequently to the Great Physician in prayer and plead for wisdom,
strength, and help. He alone can give you what is best for your case.
These words are for you:
“Whatever your anxieties and trials, spread out your case before the Lord. Your
spirit will be braced for endurance. The way will be opened for you to disentangle
yourself from embarrassment and difficulty. The weaker and more helpless you
know yourself to be, the stronger will you become in His strength.
The heavier your burdens, the more blessed the rest
in casting them upon the Burden Bearer.”—Desire of Ages, 329.
“Keep your wants, your joys, your sorrows, your cares, and your fears before God.
You cannot burden Him; you cannot weary Him. He who numbers the hairs of
your head is not indifferent to the wants of His children. ‘The Lord is very pitiful,
and of tender mercy.’ James 5:11. His heart of love is touched by our sorrows and
even by our utterances of them. Take to Him everything that perplexes the mind.
Nothing is too great for Him to bear, for He holds up worlds. He rules over all the
affairs of the universe. Nothing that in any way concerns our peace is too small
for Him to notice. There is no chapter in our experience too dark for Him to read;
there is no perplexity too difficult for Him to unravel. No calamity can befall the
least of His children, no anxiety harass the soul, no joy cheer, no sincere prayer
escape the lips, of which our heavenly Father is unobservant, or in which He
takes no immediate interest. ‘He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their
wounds.’ Psalm 147:3. The relations between God and each soul are as distinct
and full as though there were not another soul upon the earth to share His watch-
care, not another soul for whom He gave His beloved Son.”
—Steps to Christ, 100.
Second, to the God and Father of us all. The kind Shepherd will
lead—all the sheep willing to follow Him—to the heavenly pastures.
We thank Thee for forgiveness as we confess our sins to Thee.
We thank Thee for enabling strength, by the grace of Jesus Christ
Thy Son, to obey Thy Ten Commandment Law.

SAMPLES FROM LETTERS AND PHONE CALLS I HAVE RECEIVED—
“We purchased your Encyclopedia two years ago, and found it such
a help. Then in March my beloved husband of 42 years had a sudden
heart attack. We quickly turned to page 513—and it saved his life!
Now I want another copy to send to my daughter who has two chil-
dren . . The information in the book got us both on a better diet and
way of life. We feel so much better now. That book is a life-changer.
I wouldn’t part with our copy for a thousand dollars.”
—Northern Ohio
“Our Methodist pastor sold me the Encyclopedia about three years
ago. It was so beautiful I put it on the coffee table in the living room
so it would be easier to use. No other book in the house has that
kind of information.
“When our neighbors started looking in it, they found it helped them
also. Before long, they were stopping by, one after another, to read
in it and write down what they needed to do.
“I tell you, people have been healed by using those low-cost rem-
edies! There’s not much money around here, and people appreciate
this. —And the book has not one drug or doctor bill in it. Anywhere!
“Since I am home all the time, folk come regularly now, two or three
a week. They have found they can care for themselves at home,
and that helps a lot. So many are out of work now. I am thankful my
husband still has a job.” —Central Georgia
FIRST - God wants us to be in good health.
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in
health, even as thy soul prospereth.” —3 John 2
SECOND - The original diet that God gave to man was plain, simple food.
None of it was processed or had chemical additives.
“And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which
is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of
a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.” —Genesis 1:29
THIRD - When we obey God’s moral and health laws, we will have better
health.
“And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and
thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.” —Ex.
23:25
“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth
all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases” —Psalm 103:2-3
“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which
is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are
bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit,
which are God’s.” —1 Corinthians 6:19-20

7. NATURAL REMEDIES ENCYCLOPEDIA
OVER 11,000 REMEDIES - OVER 730 DISEASES
This book has the largest collection of drugless,
natural, home remedies available anywhere. It pro-
vides you with information on more than twice as many
diseases (over 730) and far more natural remedies (over
11,000) than any other book. It is urgently needed in
your home and will help you for many years to come.
But there is another matter of concern that I must
share with you just now.
OUR NATION IS IN DEEP TROUBLE—We
deeply love our country. But while a flood of sickness
and disease is gradually overwhelming the lives of our
people and the economy of our nation,—there is a
far greater crisis confronting us. One which none
of our remedies can cure. Please! Pause a moment
and let me tell you of its nature.
A sickness has come upon our nation. It has
invaded every aspect of our lives. Few seem to have
an answer. Fewer still correctly identify its cause.
You will not hear it in your doctor’s office or from
the pulpit. Both the secular and religious media are
silent about it. Yet it threatens to overwhelm us. —Our
forefathers called it sin. They said it was caused by
disobedience to the law of God.
Since the 1960s, there has been a runaway explo-
sion of every variety of evil, secret and brazenly open.
Theft, assault, pillage, murder, gambling, pornography.
More and more crazed people are destroying lives or
killing themselves. Tiny children are being slain and
some want laws enacted to put older people to death.
In selfish greed, a few people amass great fortunes and
millions suffer in dire need.
While politicians quarrel with one another, terror
stalks the streets and illegal drugs are sold on every
corner. Strife and bloodshed is filling the land. People
trust more in guns and political parties than they trust
in God.
None of us live very long. The end of our proba-
tion comes with death; this is our final opportunity
to make peace with God. —Yet millions have aban-
doned Him. Lured on by the search for a few hours of
excitement, they flock to racetracks, stadiums, pleasure
parties, porn sites, bars and nightclubs.
But above the din of traffic jams, personal prob-
lems, and international warfare,—God speaks.
It is urgent, my friend! We must return to obedi-
ence to God’s Ten Commandment law. It is the basis
of all human morality! There is no other solution to the
mounting problems confronting us.
I agree that nearly everyone will offer some reason
for rejecting the idea of obeying God. But unless we do
so, we will perish—as individuals, as families, and as a
nation. It is our lack of moral principles—moral stan-
dards—that is crumbling the very fabric of our society.
Atheists tell us we don’t need to keep God’s moral
law—because society has rejected moral standards.
They ignore the fact that the foundations of society
are crumbling away—from the flood of immorality
that is pouring in upon us.
Some pastors tell us that Christ got rid of the Ten
Commandments while He was here on earth, so we no
longer need try to keep them. But they ignore the fact
that, all through the Bible, God requires obedience to
His laws. It is the basis of all peaceful society.
Others tell us that, while we are required to obey
all the laws of the State, we no longer have to submit
to the laws of the God who made us. But the rejection
of God’s Ten Commandment law lies at the heart of
the crisis facing civilization today.
We live in a dangerous hour of Earth’s history. Our
only solution is to individually come to Christ; surren-
der our lives to Him; and let Him empower us by His
forgiving, enabling grace, to fulfill His will for our lives.
We must let the good work begin in our own
hearts and lives, and then extend outward. Friend,
it is not too late to begin!
There is a chapter in the back of this book which
will help you rededicate your own life to Jesus, your
only Saviour, and day by day, draw closer to Him. He
is the best Friend you will ever have.
A better Way of Life - p. 1080 - All about how to
come to Jesus and remain close by His side. How to
live a richer, happier life in Christ. How to prepare for
the future.

8. NATURAL REMEDIES ENCYCLOPEDIA
OVER 11,000 REMEDIES - OVER 730 DISEASES
“Our artificial civilization is encouraging evils
destructive of sound principles. Custom and fashion
are at war with nature. The practices they enjoin, and the
indulgences they foster, are steadily lessening both physi-
cal and mental strength, and bringing upon the race an
intolerable burden. Intemperance and crime, disease and
wretchedness, are everywhere.
“Many transgress the laws of health through igno-
rance, and they need instruction. But the greater number
know better than they do. They need to be impressed with
the importance of making their knowledge a guide of life.
The physician has many opportunities both of imparting a
knowledge of health principles and of showing the impor-
tance of putting them in practice. By right instruction he
can do much to correct evils that are working untold harm.
“A practice that is laying the foundation of a vast
amount of disease and of even more serious evils is the
free use of poisonous drugs. When attacked by disease,
many will not take the trouble to search out the cause of
their illness. Their chief anxiety is to rid themselves of
pain and inconvenience. So they resort to patent nos-
trums, of whose real properties they know little, or they
apply to a physician for some remedy to counteract the
result of their misdoing, but with no thought of making
a change in their unhealthful habits. If immediate benefit
is not realized, another medicine is tried, and then another.
Thus the evil continues.
“People need to be taught that drugs do not cure
disease. It is true that they sometimes afford present relief,
and the patient appears to recover as the result of their
use; this is because nature has sufficient vital force to expel
the poison and to correct the conditions that caused the
disease. Health is recovered in spite of the drug. But in
most cases the drug only changes the form and location
of the disease. Often the effect of the poison seems to be
overcome for a time, but the results remain in the system
and work great harm at some later period.
“By the use of poisonous drugs, many bring upon them-
selves lifelong illness, and many lives are lost that might
be saved by the use of natural methods of healing. The
poisons contained in many so-called remedies create habits
and appetites that mean ruin to both soul and body. Many
of the popular nostrums called patent medicines, and even
some of the drugs dispensed by physicians, act a part in
laying the foundation of the liquor habit, the opium habit,
the morphine habit, that are so terrible a curse to society.
“The only hope of better things is in the education
of the people in right principles. Let physicians teach
the people that restorative power is not in drugs, but in
nature. Disease is an effort of nature to free the system
from conditions that result from a violation of the laws
of health. In case of sickness, the cause should be as-
certained. Unhealthful conditions should be changed,
wrong habits corrected. Then nature is to be assisted in
her effort to expel impurities and to re-establish right
conditions in the system.
“Pure air, sunlight, abstemiousness, rest, exercise,
proper diet, the use of water, trust in divine power—
these are the true remedies. Every person should have a
knowledge of nature’s remedial agencies and how to ap-
ply them. It is essential both to understand the principles
involved in the treatment of the sick and to have a practical
training that will enable one rightly to use this knowledge.
“The use of natural remedies requires an amount
of care and effort that many are not willing to give. Na-
ture’s process of healing and upbuilding is gradual, and
to the impatient it seems slow. The surrender of hurtful
indulgences requires sacrifice. But in the end it will be
found that nature, untrammeled, does her work wisely
and well. Those who persevere in obedience to her laws
will reap the reward in health of body and health of mind.
“Too little attention is generally given to the preserva-
tion of health. It is far better to prevent disease than to
know how to treat it when contracted. It is the duty
of every person, for his own sake, and for the sake of
humanity, to inform himself in regard to the laws of life
and conscientiously to obey them. All need to become
acquainted with that most wonderful of all organisms, the
human body. They should understand the functions of the
various organs and the dependence of one upon another
for the healthy action of all. They should study the influ-
ence of the mind upon the body, and of the body upon the
mind, and the laws by which they are governed.
“We cannot be too often reminded that health does
not depend on chance. It is a result of obedience to law.
. It is not mimic battles in which we are engaged. We
are waging a warfare upon which hang eternal results.
We have unseen enemies to meet. Evil angels are striving
for the dominion of every human being. Whatever injures
the health, not only lessens physical vigor, but tends
to weaken the mental and moral powers. Indulgence in
any unhealthful practice makes it more difficult for one to
discriminate between right and wrong, and hence more
difficult to resist evil. It increases the danger of failure and
defeat.”

9. NATURAL REMEDIES ENCYCLOPEDIA
OVER 11,000 REMEDIES - OVER 730 DISEASES 1
LARGEST COVERAGE OF DISEASES—You
have in your hands thousands of easy-to-use solutions
to over 730 diseases and physical problems, far more
than any comparable health book on the market. For
the cost of what you would pay for one or two prescrip-
tions at the drugstore, it is now yours—helping your
family for a lifetime.
ARRANGED THE BEST WAY—Instead of being
in alphabetical order like most books, the 25 Disease
Sections (276-700) are arranged topically, just like ma-
jor medical books written for physicians—because that
is the way doctors who treat diseases all the time want
them arranged. Similar diseases and disorders are
grouped together on nearby pages. In this way, you
can easily compare symptoms, causes, treatments,
and prevention. You will find sections on breast-feeding
difficulties, infant problems, skin rashes, and dozens
more. In most books, “Urinary Problems” is right after
“Ulcer,” just before “Urticaria” (a skin rash). A confus-
ing way to arrange things. But in this Encyclopedia,
all the urinary diseases are next to the kidney and
bladder disorders. This outstanding feature is a great
help when you are searching for the information you
urgently need—when you need it.
TWO WAYS TO FIND WHAT YOU WANT—If
you have trouble in the chest, turn to the complete
Disease Table of Contents in front of the book. There
you will find all the chest problems listed together
under “Respiratory.” If you want to find a specific
disease (“Bronchitis,” for example), you will find
it fast in the complete Disease Index at the back of
the book. Black edge tabs quickly help you locate the
Table of Contents, the Index, and the section you are
looking for. In addition, we have added thousands of
cross-references to pages all through the book. The
Find It Fast pages in the front of the book also help you
get quick results.
EASY TO READ, EASY TO USE—This
outstanding book is simply written, nothing com-
plicated, and in a very readable print size. Many
natural remedies are given for each disease. Simple
home remedies never go out of date. They are always
low-cost or free. They are not toxic and appeal to
common sense. Here you will find the best natural
remedies of earlier generations combined with the latest
nutritional facts. These are simple home remedies you
can immediately use to help your family. This durable
Encyclopedia comes to you in a washable, casebound
edition. It will help your family for a lifetime. And it will
bring you assurance every time you see it on the shelf,
ready when you need it.
HERBS AND WATER TREATMENTS—This
Encyclopedia includes two complete chapters on herbal
remedies (129-205) and hydrotherapy treatments
(206-275): The 126 most important herbs and how
to use them to treat dozens of diseases. How to use
over 100 water treatments in caring for the sick.
This information is of highest value. You will not find
this much on these two subjects, as given in those two
chapters, in any other full-size natural remedies book
dealing with hundreds of diseases. The skillful use of
herbs and water therapy is invaluable in the recovery
from sickness.
HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR HEALTH—But there
is more: You not only want to know how to deal with
sickness, you want to know how to rebuild health
and maintain it in the future. The first four chapters
in this Encyclopedia (27-128) are filled with invaluable
information: Basic health principles (27-41), The
Eight Laws of Health (42-92), Dietetic Principles (93-
98), Vitamins, Minerals (99-128), and much more.
SEVEN SPECIAL SECTIONS FOR WOMEN—
Nearly 100 pages of special help: Diseases of repro-
ductive organs (677-700), Pregnancy and Breast-feeding
(701-754), Infant and Childhood Problems (722-753),
Women’s Herbs (754-758), Pregnancy Herbs (760-764),
How to Deliver a Baby (765-773), and Nine Months
(774-779).
PLUS MUCH MORE—Terrorist and New Diseases
(811-818), Disasters and Emergency Care (973-989),
How to Quit Smoking and Drinking (819-823), Hard
Drug Warning Signals (824-827), Herb and Seed Sourc-
es (1075-1076), Healthful Cookbooks (1076-1078).
