November - Lets Remember
May our deceased rest in peace
This week may be a time to remember our deceased. Let us go to the cemetery, visit
the Church or our Holy Well and recall our loved ones by name, say a prayer and
light a candle.

Divine Mercy
The Divine Mercy Novena continues each Friday at 3:00pm in Carraroe Church.

Sligo Orpheus Choir
Sligo Orpheus Choir was founded in 1975 and will present its 40th
annual concert in Holy Cross Friary on Sunday November 22nd at
8pm. with Camille Saint- Saens . Requiem Op54 sand Gabriel Faure's Cantique de
Jean Racine together with the music of Bizet, Mozart, and others with the Sligo

2. St. John's GAA
We welcome St. John's GAA this morning to our 9:30am Sunday Mass. They are spending some
time in prayer in thanksgiving for the year, remembering deceased members and praying for
the continued success of the club.
Kenya Build
Liam Lawton in concert in St. Brigids Church, Ballisodare on Sunday December 6th
at 8pm. Tickets €20 from Veritas in Sligo.
Parish Pastoral Council
The Parish Pastoral Council meets on a regular basis. The members are Maura Marren, Paddy
Loughlin. Joe Scanlon, Maura McMoreland, Aine Moran and Pat Benson. If you would like any
issue discussed at the meets please contact any of the members or Fr. Jim at the Presbytery.
Extra Parking
In consultation with the Sligo County Council part of the Weighbridge below the Church will be
re-surfaced and lined out for extra parking for our Church. Over head barriers will be
provided for security. This project will be Completed by the County Council and funded by our
Parish. It should be fully operational by Christmas. Please park responsibly outside the Church.
Currently parking is available outside the Church, around the Community Centre and the
parking spaces across from the shop.
Bereaved
Your prayers are requested for Michael Kivlehan, Dromahair, Co. Leitrim. Brother
of David Kivlehan Carraroe whose funeral took place on Wednesday.
May he rest in peace.
Tobernalt Holy Well
During November we remember our deceased, family, relatives and
friends. The Holy Well is a sacred place to spend time in prayer and
reflection for their souls.
November Envelopes
November, envelopes and lists are available at the back and side door.
Please take a list home and fill in the names of your deceased. All names should be
returned to us via the Sunday collection or to the presbytery or sacristy as they will be
remembered in all Masses and prayer services offered in our Church for November.

Climate Change - Water & Biodiversity
Talk by Fr. Sean McDonagh SSC, Eco-Theologian in the Model and Niland, The Mall,
Sligo on Thursday 19th November at 6:15pm. The talk will reflect the Encyclical,
"Laudato Si", by Pope Francis on hte environment.
CADRA Weekly Meeting:
Our weekly meeting is in Community Centre at 7.30 each Tuesday. New members are
always welcome. Four workers have commenced with CADRA on the Gateway
Programme to develop our work plans for the area. We are delighted to have the
assistance and look forward to working with the people assigned to our project. The
people will be assisting us with both external cleaning, painting, etc and also support
to administer various activities in Carraroe .
