The document proposes building eco-tourist villages as a solution that meets criteria for a future sustainable company. An eco-tourist village would combine industries like tourism, agriculture, forestry, construction and technology, operating through self-supply and use of natural resources while promoting environmental protection and social values. It could provide economic and social benefits like self-employment opportunities, financial security, tourism revenue, and improved quality of life through recreation and preserving local culture. While implementation faces challenges of changing attitudes and legislation, eco-villages already exist in some countries and could be a realistic way to harmonize development with environmental protection.

The Impacts of Tourism Development at Domboshava National MonumentSirWoyo
Elisha Woyo presented a paper on tourism development at Domboshava National Monument in Zimbabwe from 2005-2010. The paper analyzed the economic, environmental, and sociocultural impacts of increased tourism. It found that tourism led to job creation, income generation, and infrastructure development in the local community. However, tourism also caused some social conflicts and threatened the site's traditional spiritual values as visitor numbers grew. The paper concluded that sustainable tourism is needed to conserve the environment and culture while ensuring community benefits from tourism are long-lasting.
