• Production and Process
1. Introduce Linear Laser pointer to Assembly line (Lay-up station) to
improve process time (a summary will be shown in the next slides)
2. Participate in many KATA projects (Lean Projects).
3. Improvements and E2 increase through work measurements:
1. “Faurecia” Time Study (Increase Efficiency from 70% to 87%)
2. “JCI” Time Study (Increase Efficiency from 99% to 115%)
3. “Visteon” Time Study (Increase Efficiency from 106% to 140%)
4. “Autolight” Time Study (Increase Efficiency from 73% to 80%)
4. Create “All SI parts Capacity Monitoring Sheet”:
1. To check the maximum capacity per line.
2. To check the current utilization of each line based on forecasted plans.
3. To check the group of families that shares the same production line.
5. Create “Capacity Monitoring Application” using Excel Macros:(a summary
will be shown in the next slides)

 Using this application you could calculate or get the information about any
production line in SI BU.
 Information found in this Application is:
 Target Per part for each production line station.
 The available facilities per part for each station and the shared facilities.
 The maximum capacity per part and per Family.
 The percentage occupied by each part in its production line (Load %).
 The load profile of production lines based on 10 weeks forecast.
 The required facilities to achieve the coming 10 weeks forecast.
 The planned efficiency per part and per production line.
 The actual achieved efficiency based on actual output.

1. Introduce “Timer Pro”; a program helps in automating IE Tasks (a summary will
be shown in the next 2 slides)
2. Creating SI BU Time Catalogue
• Improved Process Times and calculation methods
• Higher accuracy and precision (TS done on running Projects shows
Acc.=±10%)
• Reduce time of creating quotations by 60%
• User friendly
• Reduce time of gathering data from quotation (after nomination)
3. Improve FERT catalogue:
• Reduce time of creating quotations
• User friendly
• Reduce time of gathering data from quotation (after nomination)
4. Creating E2 and Labor calculator for SUB- Assembly area processes.

 More visualized reports helps in line balancing.
