This document outlines the "Buddy to End HIV/AIDS" program which aims to decrease HIV/AIDS transmission among African American men who have sex with men (MSM) in Los Angeles. The program will use a "buddy system" and workshops to address stigmas, increase knowledge of prevention and testing, and change attitudes. Participants will be paired with a buddy and take part in two learning workshops per week, followed by an activity with their buddy. The program will be evaluated through surveys and interviews to assess its impact on participants, staff, and family members. Barriers include other programs offered at the center, while family support may help facilitate the program's goals.
