Introduction
The tourism sector is considered to be backbone of nations
economy, , which has widely taken as a central sector to enhance the
economy of the state and its local community.
The Maga Project CPEC has significant role to boost the
sustainable development in the region of Pakistan. In contemporary
era, the most significant factor that, it influences the mass
community's behavior in terms of the local community's level of
satisfaction tourism friendly economy and development.
CPEC: Long Term Development

 ports to improve accessibility to
tourist destinations.

increased investment, trade
opportunities, and job creation
in the tourism sector.

Dependency Theory
• Dependency theory was established in
1950s by Argentine economist Raul
Prebisch.
 A framework for exploring the potential economic and
social dependencies created by the China-Pakistan
Economic Corridor (CPEC) in the tourism sector of
Pakistan.

additional stress on natural resources,
leading to issues such as pollution,
habitat destruction, and strain on water
resources.

As tourism increases, there could be a risk of
co -modifying cultural sites, eroding their
authenticity, and undermining local traditions
and identities.

Tourism can become a major contributor
to Pakistan's economy, generating

The expansion of tourism can lead to

to enhanced transportation networks
under CPEC can make remote and hard-
to-reach areas more accessible to
tourists, allowing for a broader range of
experiences.

create a positive impact on the tourism.

Recommendations
Security:
Security is main concern of any country to
promote development, peace, growth and
prosperity. Without peace no country
development.
Special Economic Zones
 Building of Special economic zones in
different areas of Pakistan to create job
opportunities and boom of economy.
Recommendations:
Promote E-Tourism
To appeal more tourists, it must be
developed internet facilities across the
board. So that, through the E-Tourism
people would be able to entertain more
tourist influx.
Cultural protection
Take actions to protect the local
cultural heritage and to encourage
ethically travelling habits that
could honor the regional folks.
Recommendations
Safety Measures:
formulate new laws relating to
tourism to regulate the travels of the
tourists flowing into the country. Laws
should encompass the facilities as well
as sanctions on going beyond the
established limits.
Skills Development:
Investment in training and skill
development programs organized and
sponsored by the government for the
improvement of tourism industry so that
employees as well as indigenous people
would be able to offer top-notch (first-class or
superior) services to visitors.
