3M-Matic™ Case Sealer 700a3 with 5” to 40” Case Height Range
Customer Need: A top and bottom taping batch-run solution to apply 2” tape to very short under-filled cases and also very
tall cases that are also wide and heavy.
3M Solution: Modify a 700a3 case sealer with a motorized 5”-40” case height range.
NOTE: The 3” version of this machine utilizes 2” taping heads and was selected for its wider belt spacing for case support.
Replication Opportunity: Consider applications such a vacuum cleaners, weed trimmers or applications that have batch
runs of very short and very tall cases.
