Customer Need: A by-passable solution to apply vertical leading and trailing C-Clips to secure three corrugated trays
together on an existing production line at a MIN throughput of 10 CPM.
3M Solution: Build a PLC controlled custom Line-Straddling, Adjustable Vertical Case Sealer with Servo-Driven Taping
Heads and By-Pass option. Exit taping head in fixed position, in-feed head adjusts for case length. Case Hold-down adjusts
for case height.
Replication Opportunity: Consider applications in the food industry, or applications that use stackable corrugated trays.
