would be used for advertising purposes. First you will
research advertising photography on the Internet to
generate ideas. You will write a proposal before you
begin to shoot. Answer the following questions:

• Who is the client, or company you are representing?
• What is the product?
• What is the name of your product (needs to be made up by you)
• Create an original and catchy slogan ( can NOT be one that is already used)
• Who is the target audience? Ex. Teenagers, babies, Adults, etc…
• Where would you expect to see this advertisement?
• What kind of lighting are you going to use to make this look professional? Side
lighting, soft lighting, direct lighting, back lighting?
• What props do you need to enhance your product?
4. COMPOSITION & LIGHTING
• Shoot the product and use of variety of compositions. Think about: lighting,
composition, depth of field, product placement. Use Photoshop to tweak and enhance
your photograph. Add necessary text and captions. Post your best advertising shot,
EDITED, to your blog with the proposal and 3 ads from the Internet which inspire you..

look refreshing and healthy, the yellow demands attention but not so much that it makes
the observer feel aggravated or uncomfortable.

BY USING COLORS CORRECTLY IN ADVERTISING AND BRANDING, A
COMPANY CAN CREATE THE APPROPRIATE EMOTION TO DEMAND ACTION
FROM THE READER. COLOR ISN’T THE ONLY ELEMENT TO CONSIDER WHEN
