The two-day seminar on anchor handling and rig move operations focused on improving safety, efficiency, and anchoring systems. Over 200 participants from across the industry attended to exchange ideas and discuss ongoing projects to contribute to a safer workplace. The program consisted of presentations on learning from past incidents, mooring line design, barrier evaluation, anchor behavior, new anchor vessel technologies, mooring simulations, deck machinery improvements, and case studies from various offshore regions.

2. Review
The Norwegian Society of Lifting Technology (NSLT) continues its success with its annual meeting forum for
people working with anchor handling. NSLT want in cooperation with experts in the industry to focus on
how safety and efficiency in anchor handling and rig move operation, as well as the quality of the anchorage
systems can be improved.
We want this seminar to present ongoing work and future thoughts. By uniting the industry and exchange
new ideas, we want to contribute to and create a safer workplace with new and innovative solutions for those
involved in the operations.
The seminar is now being arranged for 12 times and has established itself as an important forum
for the industry. The seminar has recently gathered over 200 participants from across the industry.
