This document discusses 3D concrete printing and provides details about its history, principles, working, advantages, and disadvantages. It began in the 1990s at Loughborough University, where researchers looked to apply 3D printing to construction. The process involves digitally modeling a design, then printing it layer by layer using concrete. This allows for faster, cheaper, and more sustainable construction compared to traditional methods. However, 3D printing also has limitations such as restricted build sizes and potential health impacts from emissions. The document concludes the technology could help construct affordable housing and support off-planet infrastructure projects.

Additive manufacturing 3D Printing
3D printing is the process of building an object one thin layer at a time. It is fundamentally additive rather than subtractive in nature. To many, 3D printing is the singular production of often-ornate objects on a desktop printer.

3. INTRODUCTION
Its camputer control sequencial layring material.
Its also called rapid proto typing additive
manufacturing.
3D refers to various technology that use 3d
printing as a core method to fabricate building or
construction component.
4. HISTORY
In , 3d concrete printing began at loughbrought
university, uk headed by Richard buswall and
collegues to extend the group prior research and look
to commercial application moving from a gantry Based
technology to an industrial robot
5. GENERAL PRINCIPAL
A digital model is molding by adding a layer 3d
material at a time to a whole Physical 3D object.
The steps are:
Modelling
Printing
Finishing
6. WORKING
A blueprint is prepared with the help of CAD software.
The CAD file prepared is then converted into the "stl
(Standard tesselation language).
The design and printer is adjusted.
The Concrete is made up of Cement, Sand, Geopolymer
and other additives.
7. The Prepared Concrete Is Then Filled Into The Concrete
Tank Then The Paste Will Move Through The Nozzle
Which Can Be Varied Through The Structure Being
Printed.
Through The Nozzle The Concrete Will Be Setup In A
Layer Formation During This Time Instructions Are Not
Necessary.
8. COMPRESSION ON OTHER TECHNOLOGY
3D PRINTER
Low time
consumption.
One day is enough.
Low material and
labour cost. Cost.
OTHER TECHNOLOGIESHIGH
time consumption.
Minimum 6 months are
required.
Large material and labour
9. COMPARISON ON OTHER TECHNOLOGY
3D printing*It's a eco-
friendly.
No environmental
impact. No pollution.
Waste reduction.
It's not ecofriendly.
Environmental impact
It creates pollution.
It produce more waste
10. 3D MOON BUILDING PRINTING
The building have to build on moon from materials already on it's
surface.
The printers operated by robot's would usesoil from the moon.
Silicon, Aluminium, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium oxide could be used
by 3d printer.
First we plan the building with the help ofCAD software.
It sends to 3D printer to moon with robot's.
13. ADVANTAGES
Durability of this concrete is very high.
It's easy to construct a house within a
short period of time.
This Machine is easy to carry byfolding it.
Less labor is required In thisconstruction
works.
14. DISADVANTAGES
Limited materials
Reduced employe number in the industry, as the 3D
printer does most of the work.
It can Emit toxic materials which can affect air
quality and harm respiratory health.
Restricted build size.
15. CONCLUSION
By using this technology the structure will constructed
quickly, cheaply, economically, recycles, reduction of
waste materials and eco friendly.
The Technology used to build colonies for people who
are economically poor with low capital.
This Technology will create a resolutionin future in civil
engineering projects.
