This document discusses the concept of financial stewardship from a Christian perspective. It introduces a series of presentations on financial literacy topics. The goal is to provide people with the information they need to make informed financial decisions. It discusses that according to the Bible, everything belongs to God and humans have been given dominion over resources, meaning they should manage them faithfully as stewards. It also references the Parable of the Talents, noting that God rewards faithful stewardship by entrusting more resources to people's care.

BUSINESS DEVOTION: Consider the Source (Hebrews 4:12-13) - The Bible has a vital role in our lives, but few of us live consistently under its authority. All of us can benefit from growing here, but this takes day-after-day intentionality. Psalm 119 says, "I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you” and “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” None of us can consistently discern God’s will apart from His Word. We hide it in our hearts in order to apply it during the tumult of our daily lives.
WORKING ON OUR BUSINESS: Compensation: A Biblical Perspective - This classic C12 segment validates “pay for performance” as the Biblical compensation model. This is the first in a series of five C12 segments focused on effectively connecting compensation with performance. Test your own approach to see whether it breeds entitlement or personal responsibility, performance, and teamwork.
WORKING ON OUR MINISTRY THROUGH BUSINESS: The Most Helpful Counsel - This segment is a primer on how to give and receive godly counsel. It’s aimed at helping us maximize the opportunity for wise counsel and accountability within our C12 peer groups to generate increased value-added impact and eternal fruitfulness.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.

8. Contrary to Popular Belief, Ignorance Is Not Bliss! What You Don’t Know Can Hurt You!

10.
11.
12.
13. The Bible has some 500 verses on “prayer,” a few less than that on “faith,” but over 2,300 verses about money and possessions.
14.
15. It all belongs to god! God Created Heaven, Earth and All Therein It All Belongs To Him He chose to given man “Dominion,” which is defined as “dominance or power through legal authority.” Dominion ≠ Ownership Dominion ≈ Faithful Stewardship
18. So much so that parishioners see “Tithes & Offerings” as synonymous with “Stewardship.”
19. We are not cursed if we don’t give tithes & offerings, but when we do we come within the promises found in Malachi 3:10.
20.
21. The whole picture Tithing is 10% of financial Stewardship Offerings are part of the remaining 90% of financial Stewardship. Our financial Stewardship of the rest is as important to God as tithes and offerings. As we prove ourselves as Faithful Stewards, the more God entrusts to us.
22. Faithfulness in tithes and offerings As we are faithful in our tithes, God promises to “. . . pour out . . . such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.” Malachi 3:10. We do not all have the same size “room” to receive. The answer may be found in the “Parable of the Talents.”
23. parable of the talents Mat. 24:14 A wealthy man entrusted his goods to his servants and then went away. He gave five talents to the first, two to the second and one to the third. He gave to each according to their ability. When he returned the man asked them to account for everything.
24. parable of the talents (continued) The first and second managed them well and doubled what they were received, but the third buried the one talent he received. The man told the first two ”Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.” But the man took the one talent from the third, rebuked him and cast him out.
25. Put parable and malachi together As we show ourselves to be Faithful Stewards of all God has entrusted to us, He will make us masters over more. The Prophet Malachi may have described it this way – as we prove our Faithful Stewardship, He will increase the size of our “room” to receive His blessing.
26.
27. Developing Faithful stewardship Become Financially Literate - We do not rely upon the world’s system, but the more that we understand about the world’s financial system the better that we can make it work for us. Develop Financial Self-Disciplined! Seek Godly Advice – don’t just look for someone to agree with you. Talk With God Before You Make Financial Decisions, Not Afterward!
28. Power point Small things are small things, but faithfulness with a small thing is a big thing to God!
Editor's Notes
We have taught Personal Finances for years. The classes focused on the Biblical perspective of property and money and the Family Budget.Over the last year, we have developed a different program that addresses specific relevant subjects. It employs a new format (PowerPoint Slide Shows) and we have divided the series into separate groups of three or four classes each dealing with related subject matter.
We expect that each part will eventually be offered, but not necessarily in this order or in rapid succession. Let me know which of parts II, III and IV is of greatest interest to you. It will be helpful in prioritizing the order we offer them.
We expect that over time the series will expand to include other subjects. If there are financial subjects you would like to know more about, write them down and give me your note.
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Hosea 4:6
We have had the wrong teachers, who have taught the wrong things!
Advertising Creates Desire When None Exists Encourages Us to Want Things Now Appeals to our emotional sideWe think that God is only concerned about my tithes and offerings and it is entirely up to me what to do with the rest!We need to know God’s perspective on money and property.
God wants us to know His perspective on this important part of our lives and He knew we would have difficulty mastering it.
Gen 2:15 - “Then the LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.” NKJV
5 minutes X 2 Services Per Week > 8 Hours Per Year
God created man to have dominion over the entire earth, but started him off with the Garden of Eden.
This is a parable - a literal story intended to convey one or more spiritual truths.
God has entrusted parts of His world to each of us according to our demonstrated abilities.Just as the servants accounted to their master for everything (not just 10%), we must account to God for all He entrusts to us.
As we demonstrate that we are able to be faithful stewards over more, God will increase what He will entrust us with.
