One of the good tourist spots in Baguio for it is one of the most photographed buildings in Baguio City and for its reddish colored exterior. Viewing way back at the time this church served as an evacuation center during the World War II from the Japanese occupation of the Philippines.

Niño and formerly known as the San Agustin Church and built by the year 16th century located in the heart of Cebu City, Philippines. People say that it is the exact place where the image of the Santo Niño, a figure showing Jesus as a black Holy Child and was found by Spanish conquistadors in the year 1565 preserved in a wooden box which was left behind during the year 1521.

The church is believed to have a miraculous powers represented by the Holy Virgin Mary. It was said that long time ago the Virgin Mary appeared in this place and from that day on the people built the church on the said place where the miracle happened. The town itself was born from the Virgin’s call, thru the term, “taoag” means “to call” was used to name the town and derived the name of Manaoag means “She Calls”.
