1. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Crown Delicious is one of the new company which is selling the cake, that is
typically a sweet baked dessert with different flavours and tastes. The name ‘Crown Delicious’
is suitable for our product as we want to be ‘king of the cake’ in the area of University of
Malaya, that provide the marvellous taste of cakes. The beginning capital of the company is
RM400.
The company was established in January 2013 and consist of ten members, which is
conduct by Tamim Amzat bin Dastaghir as a Director of the company. The members are from
Faculty of Business and Accountancy,University of Malaya. It has since become the mission of
the Crown Delicious Company to share the unique desserts with everyone. The Crown Delicious
company are able to meets the customers demand as the product are suitable for all communities.
The company was relying somewhat on ‘speed scratch’ recipes, which means that we hired the
supplier to create the cakes and we decorate the cakes based on our creativity to be sell to the
customers.
The business planning will provide more detail about the vision and misson of the
company, business management and administration, business operation and how to market the
product. Based on business management and administration, it more focus on the management’s
role, the role of each committee, the location to sell the product and implementation schedule of
business activity. There are six aspects will be discuss in business operation. The business
operation is activity involve day to day in business for generating the profit purpose. The six
aspects involve are the requirement of legislation and liscence, the administrative, professional
advisor, location, equipment required and production process.
Another important thing that will be discuss in business planning is marketing aspects.
The heart of the business success lies in its marketing. The marketing play a crucial role in
business planning as it is include in business activities associated with buying and selling of the
product. Marketing is a process by which a product or service is introduced and promoted to
potential customers.The overall marketing umbrella covers marketing information, premises,
marketing analysis, SWOT analysis and marketing strategies. Without marketing, the business

2. may offer the best products or services in the University of Malaya, but none of your potential
customers would know about it.
From the business plan, Delicious Crown is surely will conduct the business activity as
well as to give the high expectation to the customers. The company will sell the products with
high quality, own creativity cake design and cultivate the desire of customers. Besides, the
members of the company also will be honest, consistent and responsible in the pursuit of
organizational goals and managerial actions.

3. 1.3 INTRODUCTION OF THE PRODUCT
The Crown Delicious Company sell the cake product with different flavours such as
kiwi,orange,lemon,coffee and pandan. The cakes which is sell in a slice and are put in a box for
each slice. The company receive the cake from the supplier and will decorate the cake by using
our own creativity , for example we will decorate with a creamer and fresh fruits on the cake.
These innitiatives bring us into innovation of the cake.
