IntroductionHewlett-Packard(HP)  was establishedby Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard 1939 in  Palo Alto, CA.HP is a technology company that  operates in more than 170 countries around the world. It explore how technology and services can help people and companies address their problems and challenges, and realize their possibilities, aspirations and dreams.
IntroductionThe company was founded in a one-car garage in Palo Alto during a fellowship they had with a past  professor at Stanford.
Hewlett and Packard tossed a coin to decide whether the company they founded would be called H-P or P-H. Packard won the toss but named their  electronics  manufacturing  enterprise  the “ Hewlett- Packard Company”.Introduction – Company ProfileHP is one of the worlds largest information technology companies and operates in nearly every country.
HP specializes in developing and manufacturing computing, data storage, and networking hardware, designing software and delivering services.HistoryHewlett-Packard (HP) started with an initial capital investment of US$538.

HP’s very first financially successful product was a precision audio oscillator , the Model HP200A. HistoryOne of the company's earliest customers was The Walt Disney Company, which bought eight Model 200B oscillators.
From the 1940s until well into the 1990s the company concentrated on making electronic test equipment. HistoryIn 1960’s HP partnered with Sony and the Yokogawa Electric companies in Japan to develop several high-quality products.
Products of HP  with Sony and the Yokogawa Electric companies were not a big success.
HP and Yokogawa formed a joint venture (Yokogawa-Hewlett-Packard) in 1963 to market HP products in Japan.
In 1970’s HP is identified as the worlds first marketed personal computer.Called “ HP- Desktop Calculator”
HistoryIn 1980’s HP introduced printers and scanners.
