. • ERP Implementation – Improper Oracle installation resulted in using greatly outdated historical costing data older than 4 years.
Resolved Oracle ERP issues and introduced Costing Module. Identified niche products/detractors: one primary liquid flavor product
was $200/kg below production cost!! EBIT performance increased from -4% to 15% within 6 months.
COSTING / INVENTORY / OPERATIONAL EXPERIENCE
• Product Costing Introduction –New production facility in Eastern Europe with multiple technologies was operating with negative
margins due to the lack of costing know-how. Streamlined process and enabled management to explain differences and gain executive
support to improve pricing. Upon review, Commercial Margin immediately improved by 16.4%.
• Global Inventory Process – HQ stopped physicalrelease of obsolete inventory process for 2 years. Kick started process with Sales,
Production and Quality and resolved HQ blocking points.Reduced expired inventory $710K, a 32% improvement within 6 months.
