Giulia Ventisette proposes a new idea for electric mobility using a wireless power supply system for vehicles. Buried cables beneath roads and paths would generate electromagnetic fields to power vehicles without the need for batteries. This project was conceived as a feasibility study for Florence and could eliminate pollution from vehicles on the island of Iseo in Italy. The wireless technology is more cost effective than internal combustion or battery-powered electric vehicles over a long period of time and would provide environmental, aesthetic, and quality of life benefits. Further testing and validation is needed before implementing the system in other cities.
